Depends... She used to be really quiet and stuff when we lived in my old apartment because they didnt allow pets so she was trained not to bark. But she had to go live with my folks for a while at their house and then she learned she could bark and now can get annoying sometimes (they do have a pretty loud/shrill bark). Although she is scared of new people, she will get used to them over time and be real nice to them. In the house we have her and 4 cats, so she is pretty used to other animals (at least cats). The one thing she hates is the UPS truck - she goes beserk when she hears the truck coming down the road

One thing you have to becareful of with little dogs is they can get sick/hurt real easy... She had a bad ear infection that we think kinda messed with her head - she seems to see "ghosts" now All in all though she is a pretty kickass dog - we have taken her everywhere (Walmart, restaurants, etc.) and nobody really minds. We have a little "purse" that she stays in and rarely do people even notice her. She doesnt really make any noise when we go out, except when new people try to touch her she can growl a little.
