May Vishnu have mercy on the hoods of the vehicles you touch.

I immediately ran it through a wash after applying the bug remover, within 5-8 minutes... It was still soapy wet...

My hood remained sticky, and also a small part in the rear spoiler...

My hood was already a bit hazy before hand...

Regardless, I compounded it after the wash and the hood was so hot the compound wouldn't come off... I had to re-wet it with a damp cloth to remove it...

It helped in some areas, but left a haze and some dark spots, and some white hazy film spots as well...

I do not have the physical stench to compound it again, so I just put a light coat of Carnuba wax over it to see if it would bring out the color, and to protect it...

I did all of this by hand with Meguires Ultimate Compound and Carnuba paste wax...

I also used Meguires wheel cleaner...

And also Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover which did no damage...

BUT! I will redeem myself.... Before that, I was hand washing via double bucket method, had a D/A polisher I hated, used a drill and polishing ball instead and got great results., clay and NEVER dropped it... Vaccumed everything, used detail brushes... Removed seats and shampood carpets... Blew steam... Cleaned oil and soda out of a headliner and did NOT damage it... Disassembled my trunk and cleaned and washed the spare and dressed it nicely... Had an orbital, and used it well...

I also wax my wood on the inferior, glass and chrome to prevent fingerprints...

I did it all....

Then....

I slrayed acid on my hood #

It's not too bad. Hours are unset and I find out the day before weather I work and what times. It's very physical, for me, so that may cause issues in the long run.

Also, the other workers are young kids. Well, not kids, but not fully matured either... It's odd, talking to and being around them. I also can't hear other people talk over the equipment...

Good enough for now... After, I headed over to a "job fair" for a detail position I applied for with a national company. I just finished the interview and may receive a call from them. I'd perfer this job for set hours, full time and most importantly, working alone!

We'll see... I'll do the pit crew for now, but I'm not going to stop applying for better roles.

The first day an elderly person (man or woman, couldn't tell really) drove straight through without putting it in nurtral. Well, straight into the car in front of them in the tunnel. Old people get confused with gated shifters. Oh, and it was a white Avalon.
