I usually wear this with a rubber band

or this

or another eco-drive chronograph with a blue face and leather band.

I'm not big on watches, but I really want this for some bizarre reason

without the diamonds though

Then you don't know anything about watches.

The grade of materials Tag uses, is well, not the best... to say the least.

A good "looking" watch is just that.

I know I don't know anything about watches. Most people only see the "looks" anyway.

I'm glad there's some people out there.

My line of work needs more than looks.

Frankly, I don't give a shit about watches at this point in my life. There are quite a few that I like, but overall it's not something I spend a lot of time with. I didn't mean to personally hurt your feelings about your watch.

Good to know you are not most people, by the way.

Ha, couldn't agree with you more. That's why I bought my AP and Jaeger le Coutre-it looks wonderful and has the movement and history behind it. It really is a piece of art/jewelry-not just a watch.

Trust me, you didn't hurt my feelings. Haha. Not much hurts my feelings, there are bigger (and louder) things in this world that pucker my butthole.

Now, if I owned a watch that stopped bullets and bombs, you DEFINITELY would have hurt my feelings.

Am tempted by the Omega Speedmaster Reduced. But, fortunately, I'm broke right now...so, the decision is easy.

The hours actually jump to the hour it's supposed to be. It took a little bit of getting used to, but when you want to know what time it is, you have to look at the number that the hour hand is on, then wherever the minute hand is, and there ya go...If it was 11:15, by looking at the hands alone, it would seem like it's 3:15...5:25, the hour hand would be by the number 5, and :25 would be where the 9 is, and so on...

Anybody see this watch? New one by Tag Heuer..One side is an automatic watch, then you flip the other side to get to one of the most accurate stop watch/timers ever...

I'm also waiting for this bad boy to come out...

the "Sixty Nine" has been out a least a couple years... I believe both are in the "Monaco" line... (when that V4 comes out)

Sorry but that's a fake PAM 196. Not a good fake either.

Here's a real PAM 196, for one thing, after the 12 there should be a large minute marker. On yours, it's a small marker then a large marker. The 6 in the bottom sub dial is too close to the bottom marker on yours also. Fonts are off...there's more but i'd be beating a dead horse.

what do you guys think about this watch? It's by "Anonimo" -Italian designed and made... I heard that the factory were Anonimo watches are made is THEE original Panerai factory BEFORE Cartier bought the company. Would you guys pay $3k+ for a watch made OUTSIDE of Switzerland?

here's a pic of the back side (watch on the right)

You'd really have to research the inner guts of the watch to see if it's okay. Remember that some watch companies outsource parts from different countries (ex. TAG outsources its parts from India and China) and test them to a different extent (some companies batch test watches and some test ALL watches [ie Omega}). High quality parts make a HUGE difference in design.

IMO, I would not pay 3K for a watch made outside Switzerland.

The face layout doesn't do much for me, but that's highly personal. I do like the clear watch back. It's really cool to be able to see the movement like that.

This thread has rekindled my interest...I'd almost forgotten the amazing variety of styles there is in the watch world. Very cool.

The Breitling gets the most wrist time, I switch it between the rubber Diver strap to the bracelet.
