If you're serious about that piece, I bought a B&M Grand Milleis XL from Gray Jewelers at a great price. Nice guys to work with

I wish I were. I've blown my fancy-watch budget for a while. But going to keep my eye on this. Thanks for the tip though.

Having loved my Citizen, but usually reserving it for any non-work use, I decided to step up and purchase a TAG I've been eyeing for several years now.

Rick, looks great! Not a huge fan of the square case, for me, but it is a beautiful piece.

Wearing this 60's Girard Perregaux hidden crown piece today, love it, especially because of the engraving on the back. Looks like it was a gift from a wife to a husband (or a mistress to a married dude). It reads" "Al, All my love, Forever Joyce Sept 1 '61". Obviously well cared for, but worn.

I contacted Omega to see where I can purchase this strap for my PO, waiting to hear back; both are 22 cm so shouldn't be a problem at all.

If we're taking bets on the price , I'll guess $450 for an OEM strap.

Over/under is $550 IMO. Omega has upped their straps the last time I checked (was looking to spruce up the look of my old Seamaster)...

Well, that was quick . . . just opened email and a note from Omega said the rubber strap is 185 pounds ($237). Not bad at all. I will order after all.

Wow, considering they charge around 150 for the NATO on the Speedmaster Professional, that's a "bargain". Plus it'll look great on your PO.

Or, if you're on a budget, but still want that special tourbillon flavor, the FP Journe vertical remontoire (constant force escapement) with deadbeat seconds complication for a paltry $250k.

Another cool release from SIHH this year is the new Lange Datograph perpetual calendar tourbillon with salmon dial (Taking a page from Patek's book)

Just saw this as well from SIHH. A truly MIND BLOWING complication from Vacheron... a perpetual calendar (not a big deal) with twin escapements (very big deal). Unlike the Journe Resonance, which uses two escapements beating at the same rate in close proximity to synchronize/harmonize the beat-rate perfectly, the Vacheron uses two escapements that beat at different rates, one at a time, allowing the user to set a "High performance" mode (36,000 VPH) and a "standby" mode (8640 VPH), with a mode selector button to switch between the escapements. switching to "standby" can stretch the power reserve to 60+ days, the benefit being if you set the watch in a drawer or safe for a couple months, you won't have to re-set the perpetual calendar (which can damage the movement if not done correctly).

A Florida woman is accused of stealing four Rolexes valued at $108,000 - which she stuffed inside her vagina for safekeeping. Florida cops busted Delajurea Brookens after she robbed a businessman in his hotel room on January 8.

Brookens, 29, met Ramon Diaz at a Miami Beach nightclub. After a few drinks Diaz invited Brookens to his hotel room at the Clarion Suites.

When Diaz went to the bathroom around 5 a.m., Brookens searched his room and found 5 high end watches hidden in a velvet Crown Royal whiskey bag. She fled the hotel - with Diaz in hot pursuit.

The 46-year-old businessman caught up to Brookens at a corner where she tried to flag down an Uber. Police say she struck Diaz in the head as he struggled with her to retrieve his belongings.

Meanwhile, hotel staff called the Miami Springs police, who caught up with Brookens near the hotel.

Police recovered a $22,000 Hublot timepiece still inside the Crown Royal bag. But the other four watches - all Rolexes - were recovered later when jail guards conducted a body cavity search during the booking process.

According to The Smoking Gun, the watches included a platinum Rolex Daytona and a Rolex with a diamond bezel. All of the watches are stored in the jail's property room where they are listed as "four Rolexes which were found in Brookens Delajurea's vaginal cavity."

Brookens was booked on multiple counts of grand theft, cocaine possession, and introducing contraband into a correctional facility.

Now freed on bond, Brookens has a long rap sheet which includes arrests for violence with an officer and prostitution. She has the word "whore" tattooed on her arm according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
