For the most part that is my understanding. If you are shooting paper further away probably want the 2moa dot. If shootings irons close up quickly then the 65moa circle dot is pro useful.

Any suggestions for sighting in my iron sights? I feel like I made things worse the last two times I have gone to the range.

Strikefire II mounted on the AR, along with an MS3 sling that I won. Just need to get my AFG2 mounted (need the rail piece for the MOE handguard) and it should be about 'done' for now.

Now to find time to get to the range.

I got a firearm thing for Christmas that is perfect for your boating accident. 26.5 mm Polish flare gun. Now I just need to find flares, and then figure out where I can shoot flares without initiating a rescue.

finally pulled the trigger on my first pistola
an instance where a car creeped up on me late at night and my brother getting his first hand guns led me to looking around on the web.

Just my luck, found the P07 2nd gen for $395

So finally my Inforce APL-C I ordered showed up. I guess the wait was worth the final price I got it for compared to what it retails for.

It fits really nice and compact on the front of the P-07. The controls are so easy to use and the position is perfect for right where you trigger finger rests when not on the trigger. I only mounted it up today so I will test later at night how well it lights up a room in total darkness but just from daytime testing it is plenty bright for HD and should be even good at night outside as well for carrying.

Romeo5 also showed up while I was away. When I unboxed it I wasn't sure how well I would like it cause it is so small. Turns out that might be a plus and not a minus. It is so easy to use with both eyes open it is crazy. However, I either have dirty contacts or have developed an astigmatism as the only way I can get a clear dot is to flip the rear iron sight up trick I saw in a video for those with astigmatism trying to use a red dot.

Finally some shots of the MPR since I have been slacking.

Snagged one for $129 from Brownells. There was a place that had them for $99 yesterday for a few hours but it sold out quick.

Ok so I stated the obvious with it but turns out I like it.

Glad I went with a 2moa red dot then over 4 since it looks 4 with my astigmatism.

Good to know regarding astigmatism.

I have that shit

Maybe need to pick up that red dot.

Then again I need to reconfigure my AR again. If I put it back together it'll be illegal.

With the mount, is it lower 1/3rd co-witness or just co-witness?

It is absolute co-witness

You can always go Prizm red dot if you have astigmatism and don't want the blur. Also my scope coming the Vortex strike eagle 1-8 shouldn't be an issue either so there is always that as an option.

Brownell's still has them for $130 shipped with code "M3P".....

Sportsman's Warehouse has them for $100 plus shipping, but they are sold out right now.

Could I hypothetically just build another upper for the time being with a different barrel length and just swap them back and forth on the current lower?

Just asking cause for now the wallet is closed. Both optics will get sighted on the MPR for now.

I may have to snag one and get the box before my other half does. She can't get mad at me if she doesn't see the box!!

CCC... Absolutely! Build a different upper and swap it with the one you have now.

Gah, $130 is a great deal for that optic. If I didn't just drop $150 on ammo, I'd buy one. Not sure the wife would sign off on that PO at this point.

In other news, PSA has a deal for Federal 5.56 ammo, 600rds for $150 after rebate. Comes out to $0.25 per round, not too shabby. Rebate is on until Monday next week.

Now to wait for a similar deal on 9mm...

I picked up a similar deal like that one for 500rds of .223 from Federal a few weeks back. I think it also came out to .25 per round from Brownells. Might have been .24 after the 4% active junky.

Thanks to Kalifornia I can't buy ammo online and have it shipped home.
I have to have it delivered to a licensed dealer.
Also I will need to get a license before I can buy ammo. But they haven't issued any yet.

Friend showed me a pic of his local Walmart, they aren't selling ammo for the time being.
