Hey Guys, i inheritted .22 and.45 target pistols as well as a Ruger 1022 rifle from a relative. unfortunately i don't have any firearm experience other than the safety class i just took at a local range. I'd like to clean the guns so I need some links to cleaning supplies and tips on how to clean them. thanks!

There was an OTIS kit on sale for $29 a while back. It's $41 now. A lot of people like their kits. I just use water, palmolive, a sheet of viva and a wire brush. A dab of Mobil 1 after.

Where you been? I've had mine for a month now.

I shouldn't have to say it but make sure the guns are UNLOADED AND AMMO IN ANOTHER ROOM before you touch them to break down or clean. You'd be surprised at how many newbs don't comprehend that & shoot themselves.

Yea I have yet to shoot my 42 rd promags. I apparently got 5 free pmags from a place I ordered from.

I have 15 30 rd pmags still new in the bag. I have more mags now than I can load almost.

May have to start with the 40 rd pmags soon???

Buy an AK47, never have to clean it. When you do just use brake cleaner.

That's a stripped lower though and that's a typical price. Complete lowers are $119. I think the stripped lower should be $35-40 and complete $100.

Won't if there are any ranges that would let me do the same.

Or shoot cans bottles.

Maybe a big piece of Ham? Watermelon?

I don't mind shooting paper as long as I have a spotter scope to see where I hit.

I'd love to do long range shooting like Saucy did a while back. Ah.. to hear the plink after the shot.

To hear the plink 3 seconds after the shot

Get some of the .22 targets that give confirmation of hits. A little more fun than paper.

Or explode a watermelon with a .300 AAC BLK. That's fun as well.
