Tough keeping the kids away. The kids hit wheel and Disney car collection is pretty insane (this is about 2/3 of the Disney cars). Hot wheels are probably 500+

Yes its GT Spirit. Worth mentioning that AUTOart is also going to do their own 993 RWB in five colours this year.

I have a two years old daughter myself, I have told her countless times not to touch my models, plus my models are in two different glass cabinets, so she really isn't that interested with my toys fortunately(for now anyway). Another two years old kid we know is a huge fan of my collection, though.

Up next is to find the Aston Martins I've bought a few years back...and that Calsonic Skyline GT-R (R34) that I fell in love with in Gran Turismo.

Thanks, guys...I'll post again when I have more cars out. Given the depth of the cabinets, I think I'll really need some acrylic/plastic risers...

That is a really cool display Yummy. Is that a TV to the side? Do you have cabinets for cars on both sides of it?

So what is the quality difference between Spark and Minichamp? It appears Minichamp also now makes a model of the Haas Formula 1 cars as I can get one here on eBay. c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC. MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140602152332%26meid%3D352bc ae729f84f1e9605debf10075a30%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D 1%26rkt%3D1%26sd% Not really my first choice but still haven't received my models I ordered last year and there is still no ETA on them.

Thanks, dude!

Yeah, that's a TV next to the cabinets that are hung vertically. But, the TV really is the "center"...check the pic on 01-05-2017 that I posted...it shows generally the entire shelf.

You'll have to check with MSZ...but, I know that Minichamp cars can be limited on opening doors. Both the ones I have right now in the pics: the 918 and BMW DTM only have doors that open.

Those are 1/43 F1s correct? The differences between the two brands are minimal if that's the case.

Yes they are 1:43. Don't really want to pay the price of the minichamp cause I can only get one including shipping for the price I paid for the two from spark getting them at the preorder price. I just feel like I might have bought something that never is going to get released.

Simply amazing. It's the best model I have. I'm tempted to get the white Zonda R too...but, probably can't.

Just note that to install the spoiler, you'll need another set of hands to help hold the rear that it will need to attach onto while you screw-in the VERY small screws. Getting the car ready took several tense moments, hahaha...be sure you have like a white towel under your chair so that if you drop the screws, they do not bounce away and can be easily seen against the fabric. I ended up using tweezers to hold the screws in place.

New pics of the BBR's diecast F12:

It looks pretty bad for a BBR, IMO.

Overall, I think it falls somewhere between HWE and AA performance line. But price wise it will be close to 500 USD if their recent diecast F1 releases are any indication.

675LT and 991 GT3 RS from AA
And a full line of diecast Ferraris from BBR

Some ramblings and stuff at the show...

98% of the releases AA announced are plastic, save for the Impreza WRC and Veyron which are based on the old molds. Some major releases don't even have access to engine bays, the 570S, 675LT and 991 only have 3 openings. (Both doors and front hood)

The BBR Ferrari diecasts are produced by a new company called Almost Real. AR is heavily linked to Minichamps, many of their releases came from the AR assembly line. And AR themselves as a brand is going to launch thia year. Still haven't seen pics of their booth at the show, though.

And according to one AA rep, One:1 will be slightly cheaper than their McLaren P1.

Thanks for the scoop!

I am hoping to get that Ferrari FXX K a la diecast...just hopefully not for the price of a kidney. Cuz, seriously, I could get a neato automatic (i.e. Tissot) watch.

Love the side-by-side shots with the NSX-R. Nice pick up! That's my favorite color combo for the NSX. I just don't think I'd get a model with no opening parts. I hope my collecting days aren't over, but the quality and features of models are going down across the board. Nevertheless, we are still paying full price for these things. I do have my eye on the Aventador roadster, but I'm in no rush.

A lot of people refuse to buy any resin models so you aren't alone. I prefer to have options, this way I can buy whichever car I want.

I heard it will be over 300 euros. ToMo is asking close to 500 cad for the F12.
