Doug could have let Rachel go. That whole storyline was, I can't put my finger on it - weird. The season finale was terrible.

Mendoza resigned because he got paid to do speeches and didn't report the income to the IRS and was being investigated by someone for it.... can't remember exactly who though.

Got around to finishing season 3 on Friday. Definitely not as exciting as seasons 1 and 2. It felt like they were stretching out stories and using a lot of side stories to fill out the episodes and season.

The whole Stamper side story -- from his getting out of the hospital to his physical therapy sessions to his nonexistent relationship with his brother to his obsession with finding Rachel, tracking her down, and killing her -- was a waste.

Hoping season 4 will be more interesting. They'll probably continue with the presidential race story. New story would be the Underwood's separating.... maybe a divorce? Not sure what else.

i just finished the season over the weekend...

this whole season was Frank just taking beatings from everywhere...

and I agree, Claire got greedy and weak... she knew exactly what her place was but f'ed up at everything... she wanted a job, f'ed that up, tried to fix Russia (btw could they find anyone more close to looking like Putin ), f'ed that up... wanted to be feel important and equal, couldn't handle and f'ed that up... it seemed like what was meant to run as a 'business' marriage didn't work for her because she got emotional and broke...

I agree with those that said season 3 was more of a precursor to what is to happen in 4... I want to see Frank shank some people... and I'm interested to see how that bookwriter gets involved or maybe that is now just dead...

and lol at Rachel... bring her back for the season finale...

I swear the first time I saw a clip of Kevin Spacey shaking the actor's hand I thought it was a CGI Putin sitting there

And yeah Claire had problems in the past. Remember the photographer arc.

yea her 'affair' wasn't business like Frank had with Zoe... even though it seems like it was an open marriage anyway...

Just finished the latest season. Methinks the book writer is gonna get 86'd by Francis. Looking forward to the next season.

PS. seriously, would love to see Mahershala Ali in a House of Lies episode with Don Cheadle. If the writing is great, these two actors can do magic together.

Here's your 2016 Netflix series schedule

PASADENA, Calif.—Netflix, continuing to ramp up its original-series production, announced a slew of release dates for new and returning series at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour Sunday, and said Marvel's Jessica Jones, the second of at least five planned comics-based series, will return for a second season.

Here's the upcoming lineup:

- House of Cards, Kevin Spacey's political drama, returns for a fourth season March 4.

Season 3 wasn't terrible... just slow with not much action.

Season 4 brings back all the scheming, backstabbing, and underhandedness we all loved from seasons 1 and 2

I'm currently on episode 6. Each episode just kept getting better and better. Probably won't have a chance to continue watching/finish until this weekend.

I think season 3 just needed more scheming, backstabbing, and underhandedness us AZuser said. Nothing excited happened, and he didn't destroy anymore.

Nice.. So I wasn't the only one who lost interest in season 3. And Frankly I find 4 OK, and I think I liked it coz its better than 3.

I have mixed feelings and/or opinions about this show. While its excellent, its not easy to relate to. Its dark entertainment. And they toned that down quite a bit this year. No murders, and no sex; the latter is missed.

I don't think they'll be able to match 1 & 2. But I'll be happy to be wrong.
