Finally got around to finishing the season. Watched the last episode tonight.

So Frank is Prez now. He'll F over anyone and everyone. I don't know why people trust the guy.

I guess Stamper is dead? Or just knocked unconscious?

Someone told me Stamper moved so he might not be dead but they watched it more recently than me.

Great. It'll be released just in time for me to go on a campout for Cub Scouts.

Francis spends most of the season as the newly appointed Vice President of the United States. Early episodes see Frank vanquish reporters on the trail of a murder he committed in the previous season. However, the drama soon shifts to tensions involving Frank, President Walker, the Chinese government, and the wealthy Raymond Tusk, eventually culminating in a bitter political war between Frank and Tusk. Frank's wife Claire publicly reveals that she was raped in college by a prominent general and pursues anti-rape legislation. The most significant new character is Jackie Sharp, Frank's successor as House Whip, who soon finds herself embroiled in Frank's plans. As the war between Frank and Tusk consumes the Presidency, things fall apart in a scandal that sees Walker resign, Tusk arrested, and Frank ascend to the Oval Office.

You're welcome.

For season two, I took a day off from the hospital to watch it.

Sadly had to work today. But from tonight till tomorrow, need to watch it all

Best show on TV.All this time its been Frank getting to the presidency. Now that he is there, curious where the show will go from here.

Actual intellect of the OG West Wing.

I am at #7. My impression so far:

A bit slower pace than the first two seasons, at least some episodes are slow and not sure where they are going.
Feels cheaper production than the first two seasons. Some GCI background looks way too fake (some oval office scenes).
Acting: not so much effort than the first two seasons, except for Kevin Spacey the rest seem to be inconsistent.

On the plus side, the plot thickens!!!
Best so far out of the first 7 was the one with the Tibet monks. It sends out a very powerful message.

My idea for next season... replace Claire as first lady with a Russian gay spy

Finished season 3. All said and done it was pretty good. I'll wait a bit before getting into spoilers and plot.

i enjoyed the build up of him achieving presidency.

alas, i'm only on the 4th or 5th ep....but hopefully it picks up in the later eps.

Just finished episode 3. Thank you so far in respecting spoilers. It will be difficult to watch as me and my gf are waiting for each other. It would be kindly appreciated that when the spoilers do break through that it's noted prior to the post.

Marathoned season 2 and just started 3. 2 Eps in on Season 3, looks like shit gets fucked up real quick and Frank needs to dig himself out.

Only 4 episodes in, but I get the sense that if seasons 1-2 were about Frank moving up the ranks to get to the presidency, then season 3 is probably going to be about him scheming to keep it in 2016.

I just when Claire said: "That woman [Jackie Sharp] has no sense of loyalty"

Finished season 3. Agree with you 100%. Way too much wasted time spent on Stamper.

Also, as I had thought, the build up of getting to the presidency, the power hunger, all of that was great in season 1 and 2.

Now that he is President, it is hard to come up with good story lines.

The "villain" they create in the woman, is horrible.

End of Season 3 is predictable.

Oh well, good thing doesn't last forever

Also the foreshadowing with Jackie was so blunt I couldn't help but laugh my ass off in that scene.

LOL no doubt

It was almost too easy. Which you couldn't say about Season 1 or 2. It actually kept you on the edge of your seat.

The foreshadowing with Douggie coming back was pretty easy to spot as well.... even with the "going to the other side" nonsense

I think the thing I disliked the most about season 3 was that he didn't destroy anyone. He just didn't seem to own it like he normally does.

And Claire? What happened to her being a strong independent women? Way to make her whiny and annoying.

Clair is done... as was evidenced at the end...

He didn't have any more enemies to devour. He is the President. He basically conquered it all....

Once you're President, it's kinda hard to have late night rendezvous or be able to unnoticeably push people in front of subways trains.

There is plenty of late night rendezvous in the basement side entrance of the whitehouse in season 3

I'd say Heather Denbar but maybe that's for season 4. Although it was epic when got her on the phone and just said "Go fuck yourself!"

Dunbar was pretty quick compared to previous stuff.

Agree on the go fuck yourself line. THat was the classic Underwood I missed.

Pissing on grave was a great start, but they couldn't live up to that level rest of hte series..

Last few episodes were pretty weak expect for Doug's story line. Overall it felt more like a precursor to season 4 than a standalone awesome season like 1 and 2
