One of my favorites since watching in theaters 2-3x when I was in film school. Read the screenplay a few times, etc.

We saw Big Hero 6 right after Interstellar and I thought it was better

My friend said Nightcrawler sucked. Next rental night will be John Wick.

Kind of apples to oranges. I thoroughly enjoyed both though.

Fury : OK, I wanted to see this. Seemed like the whole crew overacted a little but the banter was still enjoyable. Pitt is great as a tank commander, and the tank scenes are pretty good. Somehow I doubt that random young German women looked that good at the end of WW2.

This Is Where I Leave You : OK, wife wanted to see it. Seemed a little too formulaic to me but for OK for a RedBox rental.

John Wick is a pretty good action flick. Authentic fight choreography. I was overhyped on it. I liked it though.

Fury is okay. Predictable.

Just watched Edge of Tomorrow.

I knew the premise and was not sure I was going to like the repeat scenes, but overall I think it was well done. The base story line was predictable, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

It was surprisingly good...completely mis-marketed when it was in the theater. I was surprised just how much I liked it.

Stardust - older Mathew Vaughn directed movie (Kingsmen, Xmen 1st Class) Surprisingly good fantasy movie. Friend recommended it to me, I remember seeing the trailers and thinking it was terrible...it was totally mismarketed. Really fun and well done.

All This Mayhem - doc about Aussie skating bros, the Papas brothers. Starts off really slow, but builds and gets very interesting watching the rise and fall of these...Paints some other well known skaters from their era in a different light.

That Guy Who Was in That Thing - doc about 7 actors you know by face but probably not by name. Interesting look in the world of working actors...and freelance in general.

Joe - directed by a college mate of mine, I worked on a couple of his films/commercials over the years. Very dark and haunting. Really well done, and has been resonating with me since watching it.

Just watched Nightcrawler. Starts off slow but the second half of the movie is a great, suspense-packed flick.. in a a fucked up but entertaining way.

Might have a new show space opening coming up. I think I might hop on Sons of Anarchy. Just to give an idea I watched GoT, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Blacklist, Suits, Homeland, Gotham.

Just watched The Wedding Ringer and The Gambler.. both way better than I expected. 10x better.. I enjoyed both.

I laughed my ass off watching The Wedding Ringer. I usually don't like Kevin Hart movies, but this one worked.

The Gambler was cringe worthy from the way it honestly presented gambling addiction to Wahlberg playing a savant college prof. But it worked.. a good watch.

Interesting.. I'll have to watch teh Gambler.

I just watched Unbroken. Ok. Expected more running scenes but was mostly POW stuff. The Japanese camp leader looked like a girl.

I watched the Human Centipede just because I wanted to see what South Park was making fun of. Top of the "things you can't unsee" list.....

Watched Sharknado just because my kids said it was so awful it was entertaining. It was mostly awful - recommend only as a drinking game.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is very entertaining if you want to binge watch something. But that has it's own thread...

In for the good ideas too - clearly I need to make some better choices. I think The Gambler will be next.

Just watched SuperMensch on netflix.

Surprisingly entertaining and really funny.

Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon (2013) - IMDb

I don't know how to embed the iframe trailer from the imdb site, but it's worth watching.

Just watched "Extraterrestrial" last night on netflix. Best part of the movie was the ending. Sad, but so true.

"The Samaritan" with Samuel L Jackson was a movie I kept on passing by on netflix for some time now. Finally gave it a shot and I must say it wasn't all that bad. The movie is only 1hr 30min in length and has a bit of a twist that will have your stomach cringing.

The Imitation Game, excellent movie.
Turing was a absolute genius, bloodily shame how Britian treated homosexuals back then.
