Finally watched Bird Box, it was better than I expected. The gf and I both really enjoyed it. I also watched Hush which was better than I expected, also a fun watch and very well done. I started watching Chambers, the first episode was slow and boring but it looks like it will get better so we'll see

Excellent episode. The making of was good too. The tree that she climbed was a green pole with ladders. She apparently is a young stunt girl that someone recommended to Alec Berg.

If you are a fan of the slow, dry British way of telling stories, yes. It's much more "Tinker Tailor, Soldier Spy" than "Jason Bourne."

Everything was absolute comedy in this one. From the actual part leading up to the fight at the house to the girl showing up...and then, the best was the shenanigans that ensued when the guy's hands were glued to the wheel and then the : The fight in the store.

There's a thread on it. It's so bad that it's good in a psychotic, satirical way.

On second thought, I would have to say "no"...

I am just not enjoying the plots as much as I had hoped. The acting is really good, but the plots, not as much.

The Act on Hulu is good if you like true crime style shows. Crazy story that they apparently adhered pretty closely to the facts with.

Hits a little too close to home for me though.

The Chernobyl mini-series on HBO is haunting and visceral.

I remember this time very well and how uncertain and spooky it was. The mini-series captures all of that and then some. It's crazy good. Fuck GoT, watch this. First two episodes are out, two more to go. I absolutely love it.

Beautiful Boy is pretty fucked up, but kind of how life goes. Did not realize it was based on a true story.

I enjoyed Vice, but some of the crap in there seemed very farfetched. After googling, they definitely took some liberties with the story.

Once I started watching it with the same mindset I had for Inglorious Basterds, it got better.

Gary Oldman playing Churchill (forgot the title) was amazing.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part = Fun, but not as good as the first. I'd give it a B

Split = It's been on my to watch list for a while. I liked it. Also a B

I watched first episode of Dead to Me last night. Wow - 29 minutes of "where is this going" and then BAM!. So I'm hooked now. Wasn't sure what to expect with this one but like it.

So I saw that HBO had that and I thought it was one of their docu-series type shows. So I watched the first episode and was like... aww man... this is a drama series.

But holy shit... I got sucked right sat there in suspense the whole time... even though I know most of the history of Chernobyl I was glued to the TV like it was the first time I heard of it. Can't wait to watch the rest of it!!

Me too! It's super intense, but it also blew away some notions I had and confirmed others.
