I binged Umbrella Academy on Netflix.

For a show I heard almost nothing about, it was really good. Baffling compared to all the hype that Birdshit Box got when Umbrella Academy was actually, you know, pretty good.

Immediately went to see if/when Season 2 comes out and there's little info.

Spoiler
All the players in it, the big kinpins, murderers, corrupt cops, politicians are all out. Rick is still in prison.
Non-violent small time offender who was 16 years old when charged and 17 when convicted. Never snitch, especially when people in power are involved.

Eq2 intro scene. Like when did Denzel become John Wick. Still entertaining.

White Boy Rick was good. That Michigan law was crazy. Life in prison for 650 grams+

As I mentioned some time previously, that has got to be one of the most impressive athletic feats ever. If you aren't absolutely perfect, you are dead.

I like John Wick, I love Robert McCall (The Equalizer).
It would be amazing if their worlds combined
Again, he's my favorite

That is an amazing climb. The movie wasn’t the most entertaining, but you can’t argue with the originality of what they captured.

The sweating part is true too. Just sitting in awe, anxious AF.

I liked the quote that one of the other free climbers said... "Imagine the highest level competition at the Olympics... and you win the gold medal. If you don't win the gold medal, you die". Something like that...

007 is right in that it's kind of a boring documentary. Boring but captivating at the same time. Pretty interesting. But the angles and access they had... holy crap my hands were sweating...

Watched MERU last night. Another climbing documentary (I'm getting addicted but they are so good).

Another amazing amazing film, sucks you in and makes you watch til the end. Real stories about the men, their history, the awful things they've been through (two survived avalanches and the other cracked his skull 5 months prior to the climb and even had a slight stroke during it). Would definitely recommend as well.

Better Call Saul is available on Netflix. You'll have to wait almost a year after current season airs for them to get it though.

If you cannot wait that long or you're looking for other shows, you can find any and every tv show with the https://eztv.io/ "app"

.

Australian Man Arrested for Selling $200K Worth of Stolen Spotify and Netflix Passwords

Mar 13, 2019

A 21-year-old man living in Sydney, Australia was reportedly arrested on Tuesday for having over one million stolen Netflix, Spotify, and Hulu passwords on his website WickedGen.com. Australian police estimate that he made approximately $211,000 over the course of the two-year scam.

The FBI initially informed the Australian Federal Police (AFP) of Wicked Gen in 2018, given the 120,000 paid members the site reportedly had. The two entities then collaborated in a joint international cybercrime investigation to pinpoint the man responsible. Although the perpetrator was based out of Australia, the users who subscribed to the site were based across the globe, including the U.S. After obtaining a search warrant and arriving at the premises, the AFP seized, "electronic materials and various amounts of cryptocurrencies."

Acccording to the AFP, the man accessed the account information by "credential stuffing," which involves the attacker compiling a list of previously compromised usernames and passwords, usually due to a breach, and then selling them for profit. As most people reuse the same password again and again, once account information has been obtained, it will likely provide details to access other accounts.

Terrible business man. He had over one million stolen accounts, yet he only made $100k/year? So he only made 10 cents per stolen account that he had?

Another way to look at it. If he had 120,000 members, he made less than $1 per member per year?

I thought Triple Frontier was ok. But I assume they had no food. And they hiked over the Andes?? And with no extra clothes? Pfff

They were barely lucky to not die of starvation or cold.

Each vignette is like 10-15 minutes tops...some are crazy violent/visceral and others are just amusing. Animated. Not for kids. I am enjoying it and the Hitler-alternative-deaths one had me dying. I have one more to go.

Worth a watch IMO. And no, not because I have a mecha bias either.
