Phew... It's about time for some more.

Sgt. Anthony Ward, dressed in the Santa suit, and 1st Lt. Philip Vrska, in the Christmas package, bring some holiday cheer to a 5K "Jingle" race sponsored on Camp Ramadi, Iraq, Dec. 20, 2008. While the festive pair didn't place in the field of 64, they did complete the entire run in costume.

On Saturday, I had (2) F-22's, (5) F-16, (3) F-15's and a B-52 fly over my house. All relatively low as I live about a mile from Randolph AFB. For anyone that does not know, Randolph is a training base so we usually never see those types of planes fly over. Usually it is just the T-38's and some sort of a 2 passenger prop plane.

I love watching military jets fly. I could do it all day. When I lived in Vegas, the building I worked in was right in the landing path for Nellis, so I got to see every plane that landed at Nellis.

It was just odd to see those planes by my house.

BAYJI, Iraq (May 8, 2010) An HH-60H Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Red Wolves of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 84 lands at Al Siniyah Airbase to support Soldiers from U.S. Army 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Bayji police department SWAT during an operation to capture Al-Qaida cell members in the Bayji area. (U.S. Navy photos by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Miguel Angel Contreras/Released)

Almost thirty Leopard Main Battle Tanks will be distributed to RSL clubs across Australia, bolstering the community’s relationship with the Australian Defence Force. Displaying the retired 42 tonne tanks in the community will allow civilian and Defence members to honour Australia's proud military history. The Leopards played a central role in maintaining national security, operating for almost thirty years. They were retired in 2007, before the Australian Army received the advanced M1A1 Abrams. The Leopards are expected to be delivered to the RSL clubs in the second half of the year. The Government will pay for the cost of transportation of the tanks to selected clubs, estimated at about $22,000 per tank.

This is the exhaust from a jet engine, most likely a GE F110. I used to work on those.

Yeah, it's pretty neat. That blind spot camera is useful too. I can keep an eye on those creepy cyclists that like to hide.
