We've all been influenced in some way by his music. And if you weren't, then IMHO you were probably living under a rock.

Fscking A. OMG. I can't believe he's dead.

He will always be the MJ of the early and mid-80s, when I was a teenager. *snif* I can't even count how many of my schoolmates tried moonwalking, parachute pants, and those sequined gloves because he was *ALL* that.

Despite all the accusations about MJ.......if you grew up listening to Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad........it's a sad day indeed......those albums....that music....those videos are a big part of your childhood......for a while MJ was pretty much MTV.

A very talented man.
Thanks for the music.

However the only reason people think MJ is guilty is because he is weird, and he kept getting accused of it and people kept trying to accuse him because he's an easy target. You would think in the game of numbers that at least one of the million times he was accused it would've been proven.

CNN Television still saying the LA Times is reporting his death... however, CNN is only confirming that he is in a coma... not confirming his death.

And if anyone is near a TV, CNN keeps playing clips. They played a Jackson 5 song/video from what looked like an old talk show, now showing Billy Jean video clip...

+1, yes he did change things back in the 80's. I remember some of his songs playing while I was romancing a few women.

One of the largest reasons why OJ won was the piss poor performance on the state's part. For is closing remarks, OJ's attorney said " If the glove doesn't fit, you must Aquit!" however the state didn't have any evidence that blood shrinks a glove, which was later found out. But due to "Double Jeopardy" Laws he couldn't be retried...

Still in shock. LA times is reporting he has died, but I won't believe it until it's confirmed elsewhere.

SF Chronicle stopped citing LA Times in his death and just accepted it.

But still in a horribly uninformative clip

FOX News TV is reporting that AP and LA Times are reporting he has died, but quoting others as saying coma.

So still a lot of conflicting reports...

Thriller was one of the best albums of all time. He was supremely talented. Too bad that his antics during the last 10-15 years made him a joke.

Reaction | 6:37 p.m. Television news images showed large crowds gathering outside the UCLA Medical Center. “People are already showing up in costume, believe it or not,” said a Fox News correspondent, Trace Gallagher, comparing it to the circus he witnessed during a trial involving Mr. Jackson.

Let the circus begin!

I didn't crack any jokes. Just said He was an icon in the 70s and 80s and a complete wackjob from the 90s on who scarred plenty of children and then paid parents off for their silence. He should have died in jail
