Well, I'm not going in to work on Monday, but only because I'm on vacation. I'll never catch up to Whiskers' post count if I have to work.

I'll be back at work on Monday 4/9-- unless we win the CA Superlotto before then.

Meh.

Spent $3. Gettign $2 back.

If I was meant to win, I'd win with $2 or $3. Don't believe spending $20 would have helped any more.

I hit the Mega Ball and another number on the same line. They say you have a better chance of getting struck by a bolt of lightening. Well I almost did this morning getting my tickets out of the car.

Yes $12 million is too little to win, don't waste $10 this week.

Of course I would love 8 million cash... I'm just saying that it doesn't have as nice a ring as "half a billion"...

I started reading that story about the Maryland winner and when I got to the part where he used his Bugatti's as inspiration for picking the numbers I knew it was a joke

OMG!! I just made $1000 off of last night's drawing. I bought a ticket for the next drawing with the winning numbers minus the MB...

I found this old lady and told her that I was a convicted felon and couldn't get the $250K, and I really needed a $1000 for child support. I showed her the newspaper of the winning numbers and the ticket (with my thumb over the date), and she went to the ATM and gave me $1000!!!!!!!!

That story is a little bit more believable than that of the second rich man in Maryland.

I'm up $10,000 by keeping $10 in my pocket every week for the last 20 years. I accounted for the weeks where I broke down and bought a ticket.

Its getting serious in Maryland.

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/w...xA1VDSqWn58KtJ

Workers at the fast-food joint who pooled their cash for tickets are furious at a colleague who claims she won with a ticket she bought for herself and has no intention of sharing.
“We had a group plan, but I went and played by myself. [The ‘winning’ ticket] wasn’t on the group plan,” McDonald’s “winner’’ Mirlande Wilson 37, told The Post yesterday, insisting she alone bought one of the three tickets
A clerk at the 7-Eleven where Wilson bought the tickets, expressed doubts about her story when he said yesterday that lottery officials have reviewed the store’s video and believe that a man bought the winning ticket. Lottery rep Carole Everett would not confirm that.

there was a recent case like that here in NJ where the man had to split his winnings with the pool.

Don't these people know how an office pool works? Everyone gets a copy of the damn tickets so shit like this doesn't happen.

It's a bullshit story, if the website didn't give it away, reading past the first sentence should have.
