I missed it. Looks like Twitter said it lost control when the main engine cut out, exceeding max vertical velocity for the landing.

Hoping that’s wrong.

It was faster to fly it to Boston and Germany(?) than it was to transfer over the Internet.

Yea can you imagine how long it would take to transfer that much data without a dedicated 10gb fiber line

even if you were getting 100MB per second, 6GB per minute, 360TB per hour, 8.6TB per day so it would take 581 days to transfer the data. 5PB = 5000TB

OK, the average Blue-ray is 30+ GB but the 1080p on netflix is probably 6GB so it would be about 840,000 netflix movies...

you are right it is 360GB not TB

TB's on the brain. I was building 8 machines for sql clusters and they were 12TB each
