Any good sunglasses out there?

Like the title said, I realize I need a good sunglass, the other day when the sun was burning my eyes and i almost hit another car. I got my sunglass for $20 at a gas station, lol go ahead and laugh. whats the best sunglass out there that can block the sun efficently thats less then $200. Is there a store I can go to try it on, cause I would hate to order them online and realize that it wont fit comfy around my face.

I have the Ray Ban 3364 with polarized lenses and love them. Bought them last year as a birthday present to myself at a Sunglass Hut inside Macys. They retailed for $200 but the store was having a 25% off sale so I got them instead of paying the same price for the non-polarized version with a different lens color. And they're much more comfortable than the Oakley Felons I used to wear.

Ray Ban Wayfarers are always price right. Don't wear cheap ones as it is not worth it. Get a brand name to be safe and but from a reputable store. Too many knock offs.

I bought some Maui Jims with prescriptions. Unfortunately, they are too curved and gives me a headache after 15 mins.

I've got some Oakley Whiskers in the polarized dark grey lenses that are terrific. And an old pair of Serengeti Drivers that I still love.

I wore Oakleys a lot when I was younger but I hate the new style. I'm partial the Bolle at the moment.

I usually wear Persols and have loved them.

If you get a pair from sunglass hut, you have like 90 days for no questions asked return. What the sales person at our local one let's us do is return the used pair then just buy the same ones again. It keeps me with a brand new pair of sunglasses. Haha

They don't take any off once they're used. It's a full refund.

I only have around 15 pairs of Oakleys.
But my main ones for driving are Polarized ti Whiskers.

I have still have pretty much every pair of glasses that I have bought over 20 years. only minus 3, one broken when hit in the face with a rock, one stolen off my desk at work, and the last set was eaten by one of our dogsitting dogs.

I'm on my second pair of polarized wayfarers

I had the Ducati Oakley Juliet's before and they were nice but heavy.

If you like aviator-style sunglasses, I recommend the Ray Ban Large Metals and Large Metal II. They are less than $200, with metal frames and glass lenses, and come in several frame finishes and lense colors.

I've worn the Large Metal II with black finish and non-polarized lenses for decades.

I know you said you're looking for a sub-$200 pair, but this is the one I'm rocking. Website retails for $230, but if I get Sunglass Hut coupons all the time. I believe they often have one which if you spend over $100 on a pair, you get $50 off.

Ray-Ban RB8305 Polarized. Because carbon fiber.

Haha, really though. Real light (obviously), and I love the sleek, frameless look. So worth it, especially it's my first quality pair of shades. I'm no longer messing about now that I got LASIK done.

Doubly worth it since it was a birthday present from the ex-gf.

I've worn Oakleys for almost ten years - two pairs. Unfortunately the styles I like are few and far between.

A $5 pair can do the same job as a $200 pair of sunglasses.

Oakley and Maui Jims have the best lenses. I like a pair of Oakley Fives for driving around. Good glasses for the money.

Almost every single pair of sunglasses from a brand you've heard of are all made by the same company Luxottica. They make all of these brands

ALAIN MIKLI
ARNETTE
BROOKS BROTHERS
BURBERRY
BVLGARI
CHANEL
COACH
DKNY
DOLCE & GABBANA
DONNA KARAN
EMPORIO ARMANI
GIORGIO ARMANI
MIU MIU
OAKLEY
OLIVER PEOPLES
PAUL SMITH SPECTACLES
PERSOL
POLO RALPH LAUREN
PRADA
RALPH LAUREN
RAY-BAN
STARCK EYES
STELLA MCCARTNEY
TIFFANY & CO.
TORY BURCH
VERSACE
VOGUE EYEWEAR

Luxottica also has a stranglehold on retail stores as well, they own

DAVID CLULOW
GMO
ILORI - OPTICAL SHOP OF ASPEN
LAUBMAN & PANK
LENSCRAFTERS
OPSM
PEARLE VISION
SEARS OPTICAL
SUNGLASS HUT
TARGET OPTICAL

Walmart or Costco is their only competitor so pretty much wherever you go and whatever you buy, it's probably made in the same place by the same company. So don't expect drastic differences in quality.

I had a pair of Bolle that I liked quite a bit. They were polarized, dark lenses and durable as they were designed to be used by fisherman. The lenses were as good as my Maui Jim's but they were much less expensive.

They also came from a marine supply store.
