I asked what he had done and this is what he told me:

^^ Not so sure about that. The SC brings it up to about 300hp/340ft-lbs. I don't know the weight, but it has to be ~4000lbs. I say it'll be close. If you launch well from a dig, you may start pulling in 3rd. I think from any roll you will pull.

It should be a good run no matter what, and no more than 1.5-2 cars either way. Let us know

EDIT: He is running meth. Maybe another 20whp. Still very close, lol.

I forgot to ask what his truck dynoed ..

I will update this thread right after the race, I'm anxious to see how my car does. Unfortunately, San Diego weather can't be perfect all the time. Looks as though it's going to rain all weekend.

I just got an oilchange and a small tuneup, my car definitely feels like it's running stronger.

what kind of tacoma? Prerunner or 4wd or regular 2wd? crew cab or extended?

my dads 07 Prerunner Crew Cab is pretty quick and he's lifted.

he has an intake, programmer, and catback.



i really dont think an extra 50-60 hp would do much to his truck

My money is on the Tacoma from a dig. But from a roll the accord will pull. Stock the Tacoma pulls a low 15 without much trouble at all. Easy 2.1 60fts with all that torque. He is probably running low 14's with that set up. Just my 2 cents!

I did beat my buddy who drives a 2000 Tacoma supercharged but that 3.4L is a POS compared to the torquey 4.0L!
