it was in 97 degree temps at 40 percent humidity, maybe that affected it.

Also TOV had a dyno with significantly higher torque at 235wtq

Good post. Just a 'bit' underrated at 278 crank hp lol. Probably more like 290.

That's STD though, which generally reads ~ 3-4% high. Probably makes mid/upper 240's SAE. Still solid for a stock 3.5.

Oh, it's STD? I didn't see the video. Still not bad for a stock car. Makes more power than the 8G, which already goes 13.7 @ 102 stock and I believe is a bit lighter. I wanna run one!!

You won't have any problems with a stock one. The 8G is quick, but that 13.7 @ 102, stock is about as typical as TypeS 09 running a 13.9 @ 100 in his intake only '05 TL.

The 6AT in the 9G looks promising since C&D got a 14.1 @ 101 out of one.

Young man, 8G Accord cannot get to quarter in 13.7 sec and not at 102 trap speed... Don't go by dragstrip numbers as they've been modded, stripped out, etc and on 50 mph tailwind. Not realistic buddy. Go get da Road&Track or MotorTrend mag out.

^ They trapped 102.5 in that mag, fool. I believe it was a 14.2 though. Anything over 100mph has 13.x potential. It's been done by actual drivers, don't be an asshat.

Firstly, I'm older than you.

Secondly, do you still not grasp the English language enough to understand I'm saying that 13's at 102 isn't typical of a bone stock 8G? Perhaps you need to take an internet gander over to Merriam Webster and study the word "typical", then get back to me. I'm seriously starting to question your basic intelligence quotient.

Oh I meant one or the other not both. 14.2, typical for an 8G Accord 6MT with a good driver.

Anything over 100mph has 13.x potential. It's been done by actual drivers, don't be an asshat.
Did you think I was referring to car video games? lol All refer to actual drivers ha ha. Not entirely true though. I thought I have seen cars that trap sub 100 mph and get to 13.x. Su... sssuuu (hint) Your getting a little touchy today! Oh I mean yesterday lolz

No, 13.x is not usual for a 8G 6-6. With a good driver though, it's entirely possible. The norm would probably be more like 14.2 - 14.4.

Ever since the 6-6 debuted with the 7G, it's been a sleeper, with performance numbers in the ballpark of more upmarket coupes such as the G37 without the insurance penalty. (Generally speaking)

8th gen cars aren't really any quicker than 7th gen cars due to the weight gain. 9th gen cars are definitely the quickest Accords yet.

Was it on a DynoJet, could not see the top of the chart. 255whp is very nice for a small N/A engine.

The auto 8th gen is actually a touch slower than the 7th gen auto, however the 6MT 8th gen is faster than the 6MT 7th gen by quite a bit. I agree though, 9th gen accords both auto and 6MT are the quickest yet.
