Nice videos Man.. I'm lucky if I can find one taker a month But I did race my buddies 08 Legacy GT Stage 2 AT. Pulled on him pretty easy. Sounds like you're MT, might be a different story if I got to race you.

You're boosted

Nice runs man. Your numbers are nice too, 250/300. I'm a little surprised how hard you pulled the Evo X, especially since you said you missed 4th as well. I wish you were in NY

Do you have any track times?

no track times, will run it this summer at Summit dragway for the DSM shootout lmao. I was going to step up my game this summer and go with a 2.5r dominater turbo with supporting fuel mods. But, my brakes have a hard time stopping me as it is and well I want to work on suspension and brakes and finish my exhaust set up. Not sure what brakes yet, but I did purchase bc/br racing series coilovers and I'm going to get ralitek sway bars.

My stock wheels are horrible shape so I think I'm going with Rota Grids...my goal is to look like this one.

So I'm leaving to work from my apartment, just get on a small stretch of freeway right before it hits highway. I turn left onto the freeway and I see a bright yellow Evo maybe... 50ft or so behind me. So I'm going the speed limit and there is a large intersection coming up and as luck has it, the light turns yellow just in time and we both stop side by side. I look over and boom, I see a sexy black haired girl driving...her plates red "bumblbee" or something, and had slickmotorsports sticker on it.

She gave me a cute smile, then ruined it all be lighting up a cigg, lol. Anyways the light turn greens, I ease it out of first and put it into second at about 25mph, as I put it into second, I see her front end lift up and turbo spool up...so I punched it.

Was WAY out of boost so she came up to my side really quick, but then boost hit and boom I realed her back in, flat foot shifted into 3rd then 4th and she was back 3 car lengths by 90mph.

That white EVO had way more than 365whp to pull you like that unless it weighed like 2,000lbs

^ Agreed. It looked like he was making around 500 or so. He pulled about an airport runway length on you lmao. Thing was fast.

Black-haired sexy girl driving an Evo, damn. I would've said the same thing after she lit up a cig, eww. Such a turn off. Nice kill though.

haha I wasn't flooring, the owner of the white Evo had NO videos of his car and REALLLY wanted one, so I made one for him, I was maybe 1/2 throttle when he walked away. Plus I never shifted out of 3rd because I didn't want to ruin the video shifting. but he is 365awhp, I seen the sheet.

slowly but surely I'm getting to my goal look, I got some nice BC/BR coilovers, $1300 retail price, bought it with a group buy for $940 shipped. Back is lower then front, front will be lowered within a week or so as i get use to riding low and avoiding all potholes/bumps.

Rota Grids are next!

Oh also I put a front lip on it as well.

I'm BACK!

Transmission went down about a month ago...5th gear completely blew up into pieces, got it rebuild and I'm back in action.

The dude in S4 thought he'd eat the Legacy up no problems, he was quite salty after, I would have pulled even harder but I cannot afford another transmission rebuild so I was granny shifting like Brian O'Conner from F&F.

Always liked those Spec-B's. Was actually thinking about getting one before I got the TL. Pulls pretty hard for 250 awhp. Was that on a Mustang dyno by any chance?

yes the 5.0 is damn good looking, we always respected him for keeping it clean. I'll have pics on it soon to come, he actually just supercharged it and is getting it pro-tuned...should make close to 400whp.

Yes, 250whp was put down on a Mustang Dyno.

damn man, I barely see one a week here, let a lone a GT, i have yet to see one like mine, other than at a car show but he was from MI.

Next buy is wheels, which is very soon, then I'm saving for a 2006-2007 STI transmission.

This car is beautiful, but 350whp seems a bit high. Do you know what supporting mods he has besides the SC? I'm also guessing the car is 6MT?

Nice kills in here man and at that SC'd TL making 350whp, sounds like the perfect DD . I bet it's a total beast from a roll. Any chance that you've got a video or two of that TL doing work? I bet it'll make me wanna sell my for one again. Lol

I'm not sure on his supporting mods, I'll ask next time I see him, no videos sadly...he never comes out to run, I see him maybe once a week if that, older guy so he has shit to do lol.

Legacy is retiring from running for a while, the messed up rebuilt transmission gearing is so bad, it really effects my times, BEFORE rebuilt trans, I was ONE car length behind a stage 2 STI, now I'm over 5 car lengths on the same exact STI.

So once an STI trans is put in, and HTA68 turbo upgrade, FMIC, fuel...I'll be at a solid 350awhp and out prowling again .

Untuned S/C 6MT TL's were making 320+ before we even had PCD's and an ECU available, so I think 350 is attainable. Wasn't Opel making ~ 380?

IIRC, a guy on Azine, 04ccordcpe I believe, did a J32 swap in his Accord and with the SC was making 347whp. As far as I know this was the highest HP made with an SC on this motor and the right supporting mods. But who knows, maybe 350whp is more easily attainable now. Having a 5AT I will never get there

^ That's Sean, he's on here as well. He is tuned on the FIC I believe, which is inferior to the JnR ECU. He also has the J32a3, so he's making TL numbers in his Accord. With the JnR I have no doubts he'd be pushing mid 350s if not 360 and 310-315tq.

So one night coming home from the hookah bar, I get onto the op ramp and notice some blue hids with yellow hid fogs, as soon as I get on the freeway he passes me, a 200x Dodge Magnum.

I downshift into 3rd and go after it, we're cruising at about 80mph and he goes, I was already in 4th gear and punch it as well, I reel him in instantly and just wave bye bye passing him at about 100mph, we go at it till about 125 till he left off which was good for my sake since my stupid messed up transmission gearing only allows me to top out at about 128ish.

We did a few similar runs with him always being about 2 car lengths behind.

I get home and have a facebook message, apparently the dude is local and knows me, said he was impressed considering his magnum is the 5.7l Hemi.

I would have spanked him even more with my old trans and if I power shifted, but all i can do is granny shift it .

Also an update on the TL i posted above, I finally got to talk to him at a local meet and he said his TL put down 318whp, he is doing some kind of AEM tuning and ordered an AEM meth kit, he wants to crank up the PSI to 9lbs i believe and with the meth plans to make close to 400whp. Motor is bone stock, internally.

Love the wheels ineedmyfix As for your buddies TL, did you ever find out if it was 6mt or 5at? 318whp sounds more like what I thought. With the added mods and 6mt AND more boost (smaller pulley) he prolly will be @ 350+.

it's been a while, but here is a video I shot from my buddies S2000 vs my other friends Subaru WRX.

Legacy on the other hand is still kicking and I have not sold it haha, I did sell the red wheels and just purchased some XXR 527's 18x9.75 +20 offset, should look extremely aggressive.

The Legacy is faster than both these cars, just never got video of me running any of them.

What's the stock turbo on the Legacy GT?? I thought in 06 they went to VF series turbo's or was that just in the WRX's? If you do have a VF series turbo, you can make ~300whp with it, an old buddy of mine, you might know him Bren @ BrenTuning makes 300whp with new WRXs w/ just a protune, no other mods besides upping the boost and tuning.

I too wish you were closer to NY, I haven't gotten a chance to run a modded Legacy, I think it would be a good run!!
