Cool, mine's in the sig. That's for organising this!

96 UA3 15.5 @ 89.0 (3.2 motor with a blown headgasket). I have the slip somewhere if you want it.

Nice thread! Its nice to know what some of the Acura guys are running. I hope more 07+TL-S's go to the track. I am suprised we haven't seen high 13's for the MT yet.

Have you run yours at the track? I'm wondering what that generation coupe can run real world. I've never had someone driving one want to race before...

A 03+ AV6 Coupe auto will run high 14's at best stock - mostly low 15's with traps in the 93-95MPH range. With I/E my car should be in the mid 14's. The 6spd runs 14.2-14.4 @97-99MPH stock.

I only had a chance to run my friend in his 03 Accord V6 coupe auto but other than that I have never raced another 03+ Accord. Most don't race. I have trouble getting any TL or CL guys to race.

I agree about the Accords not racing but I have no issue with the TLs. Some want to race when there's traffic and that's just dumb. Thanks for letting me know what to expect when I line up next to those things!

~Cheers~

P.S. @OP, I just ran another 15.5 earlier tonight, but at a track that consistently gives 1 full second slower times than normal (due to incline). My previous best here was 16.4, where on a normal track i ran a 15.5. 14 sec barrier, here I come!

15.5 is not slow at all for your TL with a blown headgasket. Your car has lots of torque down low!

Thanks. 15.5 at a regular 1/4 track that's flat with a BHG, and now 15.5 on an uphill track with a strong headwind, spinning down the track. I beat this Supra and lucky for me, he had a bounty on his car. Whomever beat him won a bunch of crap. I got some FlowMaster stickers, a Summit Racing sticker, half a doll's head, a Matchbox car, a Corvette horn button, and $1, haha. It was supposed to be $2 but someone apparently stole one. This old dude I always see at the track donated the doll's head, .

Oh, BTW, I'm much quicker on the street than at Infineon. They spray WAY too much VHT on the track. The 15.5 run I bogged off the line, then spun further down. I also ran an embarassing 16 run where I jumped out of the hole with a perfect launch but ended up sitting there spinning 10 ft. from the line. Very hard for me to get a good run there.

~Cheers~

I might be down, we'll see if I have some time. If I do go, I might bring out the Supras as well. I just need some new tyres. These are fine for regular driving but I miss my MOMOs with the Potenzas... To whomever stole one rim, please give it back, you suck.

~Cheers~

P.S. So is that list ever going to be updated? Or does the 1G not get any love?

P.P.S. I smoked a 03-06 Accord V6 modified from a 40 roll. Had him by about 4 buslengths by 80, and he was a speck by 110, even after I slowed from 80 to 70 for 5 seconds to let him catch up. My buddy in a 98 BPU V6 was dead even with him until 100 when the 98 apparently hit a brick wall in terms of acceleration. Highway pulls FTW: I'm a Supra owner at heart, haha! That fool had some China HIDs... So sad. Both headlights were a different colour.

I used to live in Sonoma and go to Sears point before it was infineon. That was a great track because its right around sea level.

I hope you smoked the AV6 in your Supra because your TL wouldn't beat a 03+ AV6 especially from a 40MPH roll lol. Remember the Accord is not only lighter than you but has 40 more HP and 1 extra gear.

^ That's 40 more horsepower stock and this was a sedan. I missed out on dynoing the last time I went to the dyno because of some hungover friends that needed a ride home. Could it be, though, that that extra gear doesn't do much but save gas like how the 3G TL's 6th doesn't do anything? Just wondering how that happened. Oh, and another 03+ sedan had done a ricer fly by and even while I was doing 20 and he passed me at 45, I caught and passed within 3 car lengths before he swerved to get away.

When a buddy of mine with a MKIII bought an 06 Accord sedan, all our friends wanted us to race (I was still on the blown motor), but alas, it never happened because his girlfriend drove it everywhere leaving him with his 91 Legacy wagon, haha. We'll see what I catch tonight on video. I'll have a couple people riding with me so I might be slower than usual but whatever.

~Cheers~

P.S. 07 Civic SI coupe from a dig AND a roll < me. Stupid HK kid... Wouldn't even look over to see my thumbs up...

Dead even with an 06 6 speed G35 until 70 when he started pulling ahead by half a car , then by 80 my bumper was at his rear wheel before we shut down. BTW Satin, your Accord has 2 more gears than me, haha.

Went to the track for the first time today in my life. First two runs I got over zealous and burnt my clutch up....... ooooops. I took a couple more runs and kinda took it easy, smoked a new 3.5 maxima with a 15.1 time and then on my 5th and final run ran what I consider to be a great time for my first experience at the track. Next time I intend to lower the psi ( i was running 32 ) and that should help the 60, and with some new found skills should improve my time greatly.

Heres the slip. I have AEM CAI, p2r spacer and gaskets, and mid muffler delete.

Off the line torque steer on Maximas is a bear. The only time I ran slower than 15-flat in my old 5.5G Maxima was when I blew a MAF sensor mid-run. That said, most should run similar to your runs...which is solid by the way.

Wow not bad for first time I guess, considering you are driving the 6MT, which takes even more skills! Go to the track more and perhaps you can get to around 14s!
