Lapping at Mosport

Took my stock TL to Mosport in the past summer. It was a blast to drive on this track. SH-AWD (under power) really help the car in turns. I should have pumped up the front tire a bit to improve the front traction.

The dash cam was Blackvue DR400G-HD recording at 1080p30.

That looks like fun! Just follow the fresh blacktop for the "racing lines".

That is a beginner friendly feature addition as part of the 2012 upgrade to the facility.

What training if any is required to get onto the track?

It was a driving school. I would not dare to take my boat there without any instructor guidance. I just wanted to experience what it likes to be on that world class circuit, not to get hurt. I was cruising there. Sitting in the instructor's car going around the circuit was a real deal. =)

At the end of day, it was track walk. We were led by a seasoned racing driver, one of the instructor, to walk around the track. It was a privileged experience to see the track up close and feel it with my feet. By the way, the lap time was 1.5 hour.
