J32 Accord vs. TL Type S

Found these vids from a fellow forum member on v6....yea. Both had passengers. For reference, this Accord used to have a ported manifold & ZDX throttle body and was trapping ~103 on that setup.

J32 Accord - I / Catless DPs / E / Runners
TL Type S - I / Jpipe / E / Clutch

This video added a very lightly modded MS3.

Entertaining runs for sure, interesting how the TL-S starts pulling ever so slightly in 4th & 5th.

Sonnick, any new developments with the Accord? Haven't really looked at your VeSixPe thread in awhile.

With catless DP's on the Accord, I'm assuming it's an A3 J32 and not an A2? I thought the Accord would've pulled a bit being a 103 mph car. TL is probably making 265-270 still being on stock precats.

Yea, the Accord has the J32a3 from the Base TL. He was trapping around 103 on his old setup, which consisted of a stock ported IM & ZDX throttle body as well. It's probably a ~102.0 mph car at this point.

Tyler: I just bought the 2011 MDX 3.7L cylinder heads and 8G Accord ported runners. Not sure when exactly they will be installed, but here they are below.

What's the difference in the mdx heads between other j heads that make them a better choice?

Th shape of the ports, the cams, and lighter valvetrain. They are supposed to flow really well.
