I'll be damned.. I beat a new Mustang V8 with my F-Sport IS350
Oh crap. Last weekend I beat a brand new looking mustang V8 GT.
At the light I stopped next to this guy in a Stang V8. I was like mmmmmmm~~~ just bout time!
Disabled my VSC / Trac. Had 1/4 tank of gas, no groceries in the back. I braketorque launched at 1100 rpm. I pulled good 3 cars off the line. I pulled one additional car at 60- 70. At 80 I stopped pulling. He was back there.
At 100+ he started playing catch up. Before he even had a chance to get near me I shut down at 110 and turned my blinkers on.
Dude, the race is over. This guy looked to be in the 50's looking pretty pissed. The beauty about it is that my IS350 is bone stock.

^ Brand new looking 'GT' is the 4.6 
Sounds about right considering he probably didn't launch the car at all and you were in 'because racecar' mode. I'd like to see that IS on the street, I'd walk that ass

Sounds like it was an '11+ 3.7. Even they're an upper 13's car stock, with the right final drive/driver. Some have trapped 103-104, and knowing how the IS350 starts losing steam at 100+, I could see one catching up into the triple digits.
If it was a 5.0, the driver sucked badly. I've driven a stock 335i and a stock '11 Coyote 6MT/3.73 gears. HUGE difference, seat of the pants. I was tearing off sub 11 second 0-100's in the Mustang with 0 practice.

He trolled so bad one time I got pissed and with the help of another poster I posted pictures of his 100lb self, his cars, his home address and phone number, etc, but the mods didn't like it. His sister on the other hand, hard to believe she came from the same gene pool. He lived with his parents at the time, probably still does FWIW. He is Asian. He's into video games and cats.
