Running lower octane isn't going to make your car's injectors dirty, as long as it's a good quality gas; it'll just cause an 11:1 engine to ping and lose some power.

Brings back memories. Back in '97 a couple buddies and I were running our bikes at like 1 AM on a Sunday morning at a place that really got crazy on Wednesday nights. We ran like a half dozen times but never noticed the criminal justice student sitting in his car at the end of the quarter who was obviously looking for some brownie points from the local constabulary. Nor did we eventually notice the unmarked cruiser that later rolled up with its lights off, facing us around halfway down the "strip". I was sitting over in the parking lot at this point and my buddy and another guy we knew started to line up when the car came flying down, cut over the double line and came up on the two of them. The one guy had just enough room to maneuver his bike around the driver's side of the car, kicking the half open door shut on the cop and getting the hell out of Dodge. The cop, now more than a little pissed, then put the car back in gear and actually slammed into my buddy's front tire, almost knocking him off the bike. I could have been a red speck on the horizon before they knew what hit them, but chose to incur the wrath and the unsettling sight of my new bike being hoisted up onto a flatbead.

Cliff note: Small town judges do not like to be called into their chambers at 3 AM on a Sunday morning for "unauthorized speed contests". That little incident cost me a few points and a few hundred bucks.

I haven't had an encounter with another 300C since then.. Maybe next time I'll get it on video :Shrug:

on a little cruise the other day me and my buddy who drives a 3G tl-s ran into a dodge charger r/t that was tailgating us at first then jumped in the right and floored it tried to cut both of us off. as he tried that me and my buddy both floored it at the same time lol and left him behind in the dust
