Side Mirror Reverse Tiltdown Programmable?
Does anyone know if the amount that the side mirrors tilt down when the car is put in reverse is programmable to a memory function? Currently, my mirrors don't tilt down far enough when I'm in reverse to see the curb in relation to my wheel. I always have to manually point it down more after it does it's automatic tilting thing. Is there a way that I can set it to go down to the level that I want every time automatically?

No.
Put it should go down all the way, I think. I don't think you should be able to use the switch thing to lower it more.
If that is correct you may have an "indexing" issue; that is the gear center is not the mirror center.

I know you don't really need this feature to park, but I figure I might as well be safe and not curb my rims if the car has this ability built in.

Are both sides the same? That is, do both sides only tip about half way down?
If the driver side is different (i.e. tips further down) then you've got some kind of problem with the right side mirror.
I'm not sure how far they go. Mine tips enough that I can see the curb/parking space lines.

Dude i know exactly what you mean.. i guess its mostly depends on the driver..how he sets up the side mirrors and i do the same thing.. sometime i manually tilt it down.. but i think the best option for me and you at this point it to attach one of those tiny blind spot mirrors and have it aligned so that when it tilts you can see more of the curb from that tiny mirror.. i use to do that in my other car lol and it works fine.. and I also heard this is something the dealer can reprogram .. not sure if its true tho

I found out that if the switch is in the middle, neither of the mirrors will move down.
Set the switch to the side you want to move down and it should work.

^KPTechnologies makes a module that you can purchase to make that possible, from the factory that is not an option.
They also make a module for being able to roll all your windows/moonroof up from your keyfob. This module is around $50.

in regards of the Mirrors, I will take a look at KPTechnologies as you indicated to see how much will it cost.

About rolling down your windows, you can do that anyway by press and holding the unlock button on your key fob. I always had this option since I have bought the car from my parents without any modifications. Any Acura TL owners from 2004-2008 should have that option.

I just bought a Mirror Tilt module from KP Tech myself. Since we already have the option to control one mirror I was told that we can wire up the other to do the same with one module as I see they sell a deluxe kit that comes with 2 modules per say. I think it would involve tapping into the mirror itself and running the wires to both the stock module under the dash along with the KP module. Thinking of just leaving the factory switch selected on the passenger mirror and wiring the drivers side to the module. Plan on doing it this weekend so I'll let you know how it goes.

- The amount of tilt is not programmable that I know of. One solution is to add a small fish eye blind spot mirror to the outside edge of your passenger mirror. The combination of the partial tilt your getting and the use of this mirror will allow you to see the curb by your rear wheel when parking.
