CL-S vs 2011-ish? Charger R/T
I don't understand it - I've had more runs in my CL-S than my Accord did in 6 months ... and it's bone stock other than coilovers, tint, K&N filter and the front plate removed.
Earlier this afternoon, I was driving through Escondido and noticed a newer 2011 - 2012ish? Charger R/T doing some quick lane changes and could also hear his exhaust from a distance. Car looked just like this except it was black:
I was driving up the main road for a few minutes and sure enough, a lane opens up and we happen to line up right at a red with a large clearing of traffic ahead.
As we were waiting at the light, my window was down and I could hear the gurgle of the V8 with that aftermarket exhaust. Light turns green and we both launch pretty hard - he starts pulling me in first and as I shift 2nd he's probably around 1 1/2 car lengths ahead of me. My car starts getting into it's stride and to my surprise - the pull stops and I start inching forward as soon as I hit the meat of 3rd.
He stayed about 1 car lengths ahead of me til we shut down at 95mph.
According to the interwebs, they run 13.7 @ 102.8? He was probably playing with me, but it was a good run.

Nice. They're all over the place time-wise, just like the Challenger R/T and 300C. I've seen some upper 13's to mid 14's and 98-102. The newer ones have 20-30 more horse than the older ones, but they're also ~250lbs heavier. I think the newer Charger/Challenger is 370 hp and the 300C is 363. There was an SRT8 300C at the track with exhaust/tune trapping 107, which didn't impress me for what it was. They're 425-470 hp stock. I've driven my sister's BF's '11 300C with the 5.7/363 horse and honestly, I think I'd pull it pretty easily from a 60 roll.

Nice run man. I have also seen those times all over the place. They are quicker than the older ones, which our cars would take out. He probably didn't expect you to be as close as you were to him. Soon we will be able to post our runs up here. I have a go pro hero 2 ready to roll!

Let me know Brandon, I'd be down for some runs this weekend if you're available.

Yeah. Hopefully he makes it. I don't see any issues really. There's a guy who built a RWD integra. Where there is a will there is a way. Some Aziners complain about how much money it costs but when you factor in that it cost around 15k to turbo the TL, this isn't that crazy monetarily.
