0-60 times put the Type-S on top.

C350 - low to mid 6's.

A4 - Mid to high 6's.

Type-S - mid to high 5's.

But that's just on paper. From experience however, I can tell you that a stock A4 is not much of a threat at all. The C350 might give you a run for your money though. I still think you'll pull though.

Provided there's no work done to the A4 (which is probably unlikely in a car that new, with respect to factory warranty), the TL-S is about a second quicker (to 60) than the others.

The auto TL-S should be in the low 6's (0-60), the manual is high 5's. Which would put it door to door with the c350. It would really just be a styling preference between the two. 4matic is isn't a big deal unless you get snow. The Acura is probably more reliable and cheaper to repair.

The A4 is slooooow. I beat one... in my QX. Reality check for that guy.

Have you considered a G37?

He is not talking about buying, he is referring to racing.. Yes the one that will be close as others have said is the C350, with it and the TLS auto both being low to mid 6's to 60. He may have the advantage at launch due to the rwd setup although.

TL-S is pretty fast. The C350 is an absolute joy to drive though. 7-speed transmission, more low-end power, handles better than the TL. I can't comment on the A4 as I've never driven one.

I think from a dig the C350 will probably launch better and stay ahead until the TL hits the top of 1st and shifts into second gear. At that point I believe the Type-S will either pull slightly ahead of the C350 or at least be neck and neck with it.
If you want to take the away the C350's RWD advantage, I'd suggest you do a race from a very low roll; i.e. 5mph. That way you guys won't have to argue about a bad launch or being in the wrong gear at X-mph. Just a thought.

Good luck either way and stay safe bro!

P.S. - film it if you can.

Fully-bolted 2nd gen Type-S vs 3G Type-S stock? I'm 99% sure the 2nd Gen will win, but it'll still be fun to watch/read about.

Aren't E350's extremely heavy though?

Would not be much of race against a stock auto TLS, you would would beat it pretty bad..... as stock for stock there is not that much of difference between them.
