not really a race guys but i had someone with a 6sp TL taunting me the other night. he kept trying to make me run. i was on the street 2 lights before the on ramp and passenger roll his window and says "lets see what that girly car can do" at this point i roll up my window (manual windows). he starts laughing, gets off the car and motions what rolling up a manual window looks like. liggt goes green and he follows. im with my 12yr old brother, so i want nothing to do with him. they keep pacing me and yelling things out.

i know it was a nighthawk black 6sp.. i used to have one. lol. i doubt its someone on here cause i never found this forum to have such morons. if you are, you gotta chill. this is the second time something like this happens to me. maybe cause i drive a small car. last time it was in the s2000.. anyway

i dont street race, i drive spiritely when alone only. people need to have some respect when they see a kid on the road. seems like it was two white guys in theyre mid 20s. kinda small. lol. my 12yr brother is 6 foot and 175. im 6,2 185 we could have taken them but we dont fight. sorry guys

no race results bit wanted to share that there is a douch in every car. i could have easily taken his stock TL.. im in a 91 with a gt28 at 16psi 242rwhp

thats the thing, i dont race on the street. i get track time here and there. people are just always so quick to pick on the miata with the two racing stripes. lol. maybe thats the problem i should get rid off the stripes.

Over the years, I don't think I've paid Miatas any mind when it came to racing. Then again, it's probably because I've regarding them as AutoX cars and nothing more.

Your particular setup sounds fairly formidable but, it's good to see that you didn't bite. (I might have been inclined to call the police and report a road rage incident.)

Sorry to hear about that, Adrian. It's sad to see how much the TL has lost from it's value (both from an economic standpoint and from a class standpoint).

The 3G is becoming very affordable, and I'd hate to say it, but more and more uneducated/immature people are going to be buying this car. I see many, many more of these incidents occurring in the future.

Please, for the sake of the 3G TL's reputation, let's not bash on other cars. It doesn't matter if it's a miata or a 350z or a ford focus. You can't judge a book by it's cover.

I personally love the miata; it's probably the most praised road racing car out there.

Hat's off to you for not jeopardizing your brother's life. You would probably have to flee the scene immediately after you walk on those guys; i'm sure they won't take losing to a "girl's car" very well, lol. Immature drivers in a heavy TL tailgating a lightweight miata would be a disaster waiting to happen.
