2012 accord v6 vs. e46 m3 (w/ smg)

Starts out level then up a hill, m3 didnt use launch control obviously if he did he would've destroyed me, both times i was BARELY ahead until i let off since the road in my lane was closing
From a roll i am able to keep up with another friends convertible until 80ish and then he just starts pullin (nothin like that m3 top end lol)
Sorry in the roll race video the race starts after 15 secs or so

I'm assuming you're a coupe? Stock or modded? Either way, nice work.

Thanks man!! I'm a v6 sedan, stock, but filled it up with 91 since day 1 (8th gen accor has been proved to dyno more on 91 octane) and i took out my jack and spare tire and i had my rear tires filled up to 34 psi instead of 32

No offense bro, but in that 1st vid, it sound like the M3 took a sh1t before shifting to 2nd...and he started in 2nd in the 2nd vid lol. Put a competent driver in the M3 and you are toast. The 8G V6 Accord sedan is at best a 14.9 car stock. The M3 should be putting bus lengths on you from any speed, at any time.

Yeah, that's surprising, and why I was I was assuming it was a 6MT coupe with mods.

Aahaha i know i even said it myself, he didnt use launch control if he had he woulda raped me, but m3s arent as quick as ppl think, but all the testing numbers on the accord sedan v6 were tested on 87 octane, on 91 it pulls a lot harder and dynos more, obviously its not gonna be running sub 5 secod 0-60s but it does do pretty good for what it is, i believe mine can crack off lower then a 14.9, not 13s but still i believe strongly low 14s is possible, who knows maybe i have a factory freak ahaha jk but really tho obviously if the m3 used launch control i woulda been eating his dust

You're wasting your precious money on premium fuel on your stock engine with stock mods. You will not yield better fuel economy and will find minimal if any performance changes with higher grade fuel. Timing and compression are not advanced and these engines are dialed back so any difference you find will be minimum at best. It's not the J35 type S with 11.1 compression, the cam specs isn't as aggressive as the TL or the Type S. On vtec temple, it was tested, but you have to assume that every car was not build the same. I also had a 08 Accord V6 coupe 6 speed myself and it showed no gains. If you're turbo'd, that's where Premium is needed.

I disagree, but that is just me. It has been dyno proven and track proven for me. I have been using premium since my first fill up. To each their own!
