13+ accord v6 VS accord v6 6mt
I am seeing a large increase of accord v6 sedans in my area. The 13+ accords look to have a strong power train. I was wondering how a stock 13+ accord v6 sedan (auto of course), would be against stock 7.5 gen accord 6-6, 3g TL 6mt, or 8th gen accord 6-6 ?
Any insight is great. |
new cars are always getting more powerful
but it also tells how strong our decade old cars are. get out there and try one |

You have a 3.0L, those accords are 3.5L. I've never driven one but they must produce some good torque.
If I were in the market for a quick car, I'd grab a 3rd gen TL and put gerzand's rotrex on it. 3rd gens can be had pretty cheap around here. |

I'm a member the 9th gen Accord group on Facebook and I know a couple of dudes with 9G AV6s packing bolt ons and some K-Tuner treatment. Let's just say, they are more than impressive when it comes to performance.

Stock for stock, 9G Sedan should pull away slightly from a 7G 6-6 or 3G TL until 4th gear. 8G 6-6 should pull a little bit, especially in 4th.
I haven't checked in awhile, but I want to see a 9G go 12s. I believe I still hold the record for 7G on street tires with 13.28 @107.5. Not sure about all Accords on street tires. |

Maybe you guys have some sort of different Camry V6's over there, but I've raced a number of 3.5 liter V6 Camrys in RF, and they could NEVER touch me. From a dig, from a high speed roll at over 100 mph - I pull away from them REALLY hard.
