'04 Accord 6MT vs. '03 CL-S 6MT
Went to our monthly SD Acura meet and had an opportunity to run a CL-S 6MT tonight.
At first, I was a little nervous because I know how powerful the CL-S is and I knew the driver was that I was going against was really good. The only thing I had going for me is I had Intake / J-Pipe / Innovative Mounts .. wasn't sure how much they'd help me but I was game.
We leave the meet and begin merging on the 805 South. Once we found a clearing for traffic and was up to highway speeds, we both dropped to 3rd and did a 3 car honk. After setting off, to my amazement, he wasn't pulling away from me. I'd say from 75-90mph neither of us were moving and I started pulling slowly as soon as I shifted 4th. I was no more than a fender ahead after letting off at around 105mph.
We couldn't really get in that many runs because my exit was coming up, but I'm fairly confident he'd pull me from a dig.
A 50mph roll would be VERY interesting, I'm sure we'll run again somtime soon. Next time I will film it!
Great race!

He's all stock except for different mufflers.
I'm sure with an Icebox / Headers he'd leave me pretty good.

Nice run man. I thought the CL-s 6MT ran pretty similar to us in terms of performance. They have only a little more power, but weigh more.
Get an exhaust!

Maybe. Gear ratios are the same, they only have 15 more hp and 20ft lbs. Plus they weigh about 150+ more. Drivers race
I was looking at the CL-s when I was in the market for a new car. I should've looked for a TL 6MT

If this had been from a stop the cl-s would def get the jump being able to get traction of both tires due to LSD. MAN how I miss mine.
