03 AV6 5AT vs G35 Sedan(ANOTHER ONE!)
I don't know what it is but all my races as of late have been G35's in the same infamous spot on my way home! Well I pull up to the stop light where it goes from 2 lanes down to one about a 1/4 mile or so after the stop light. Sure enough the car on my left is a white 03-06 G35 sedan. I couldn't tell what year it was because I didn't have long enough to focus on it. Anyway I can see the light turn yellow for the north/south traffic (I was traveling west) so I was ready for the green. I start to creep slowly. Light goes green and we are off. I had a great launch off the line even with TCS on! I heard his tires squeal slightly and what sounded like a chirp into second. So I can't be sure but I thought he had a 6MT. Anyway I pulled through 1st gear to where he was at my rear bumper. I pulled throughout 2nd gear to where I had one full car gap lead on him. We ended the race at about 75MPH or so. I put my thumb out the window and he returned with a peace sign! What was really cool is that he was a man in his middle to late 50's!! I know the G35 6MT is a faster ride than mine when driven to its potential but in this case he didn't do any better than a 5AT did against me. Again though I am not sure of the tranny. Could have been an auto too. I was more focused on what was ahead of me!

Very nice run. You have a strong running 5AT I laugh sometimes because I've gone on 6MT.net and seen what the G35 owners say of Accords. There was 1 thread "disappointing loss to Honda Accord" and the G35 owners were like bahhhhhhhhhhhhh. It was a story of a 6MT Accord with CAI vs stock G35 6MT and the G35 lost a few times by like 1-2 cars and was heartbroken. Almost every member that posted said "you can't drive" or "there's no way he had only CAI," etc, etc. No one expects it. I love it

Only if some of the G drivers knew what the accord is capable of(especially if a G driver runs into a 08+ Accord 6MT
) Or even your accord for that matter!

The G37's and including the 07+ G35's with the HR motor are rockets. Mid-high 13's depending on the model stock is deceptively quick!
