Driving around the other day and I got a Check AWD light. Luckily its still under warranty. It goes in tonight for a check. But anyone had any experience or have any insight into a message from the AcuraLink for Service 71 ?

Also, that IMA light on the dash. Has anyone seen that before? It doesn't seem to be in the manual.

Is this on your RDX? Thought this was just on hybrid vehicles

 

This is on my 2013 RDX. And yes, we thought that light was only on Hybrids also.

Anyways the AWD issue was the rear diff. They are replacing it under warranty.
So far my wife is in love with the MDX Loaner.. I might be in trouble.

The Service writer has never seen IMA on the dash. He said when he talked to the rep at Acura NA, they said it had something to do with the differential but they didn't sound too convinced themselves.

They replaced the rear diff, the car seems to drive just fine. Then I traded it in on an MDX. I never should have let my wife drive the loaner. (Thought I wanted an MDX all along anyways)

 

While driving up some ramps to change the oil, the IMA light came on. I pulled the battery, and it went away.
