Angry This f***ing bi**h is at it again

So besides being livid right now, I have an issue...which I am hoping is not what I think it is. And fyi I named my car fucking bitch years ago because it was always something going on good or bad.

So car been driving fine, has a bit of a knock from sitting but that has gone away in the last 2 weeks. As I was driving a little while ago my car decided it was going to go into neutral basically.

Shifter was in gear dash showed car was in gear, but wouldn't move, reved fine just wouldn't move. Turned off the car and back on about 4 times, and she went back into gear and drove fine for about half a mile, then just did it every few houses give or take.

I called up my mechanic and he said it is probably the neutral switch. Since it was doing the same in reverse, drive, any gear. Fluid level is marking a little higher than where it should be, but it has a small leak on a pressure switch, from a bad washer seal. So I may have just put too much fluid in like over a month ago when I topped it off.

Also every time she started moving again it felt like the trany wanted to shift but reved a bit higher than normal around 2.5-3k before it would shift, on almost idle speed barely giving it any gas, it wouldn't shift hard just rev up a bit.

I have had a bad wheel speed sensor but that shouldn't make the car come out of gear, it should make it down shift hard under braking, if anything or when turning.

At this point I am seriously debating if I should just part the bitch out take a bat to her and relieve some stress

Your transmission is dead. Need to revive that B**ch with a hot used AV6 transmission. That will fix her up nice.

Yep, tranny is most likely toast. How many miles on the car, and how often have you changed the fluid? Original tranny? Does it have the oil jet kit?

I have an av6 trany in it, which had 75k and I have only driven the car 4-6k in the 2 years since I put the trany in.

according to my mechanic there is a clogged filter in the trans, since I have known him I have seen him do well over 20 Honda/acura trans, from the ody to the cl/tl accord pilot.

he told me to bring it by and he would do a flush and put in a filter kit at no charge, if that doesn't work then we'll see what else is the cause

Ouch if it is indeed the internal filter, Good luck on that...
I would use Amsoil Trans Lube and do a 3x3..
