Love these decals!!! I know everyone is trying to make original ones but I'm having my friend copy this one and replace it with acurazine.com see how much heat I get for that...

Guys, here's my two cent's worth (currently on sale for a penny)

In order to get brand recognition, you need to be able to recognize the logo from a distance. You can do that by using the same type face for the ACURAZINE. If you use a fancy font for that (especially one that might be an F or a 7) then you've lost that advantage.

Also, using more than three fonts is visually disturbing. The

logo already uses two fonts, so you can only add one other.

What wording or symbol is typical of the tri state area up there? Some map or something that you could plug in instead of the words "tri state?" OTOH, there are lots of "tri states" so that would allow you more flexibility.

Just a few random thoughts for your consideration.

i understood what it really was, i was just trying to say i feel it is retarded(i know, my criticism is insanely constructive i know). any update on decisions for a design? i may just take the one i liked from the previous page and ask someone to make it for me

Correct. I am not a design master, but i whole heartedly agree. You need to have something that has brand recognition (azine logo) and something that harkens familiarity to your region (icon).

The e90 sticker uses the e90 logo and a cool speedo thing. IF you guys want cool speedo things we can do that too, but its not very "tri-state".

Also, there are 40+ tri state areas in the country apparently.

Anyway, not to take away from the awesome artists in this thread, but i made a few very simplistic mock ups of what I think a regional Azine logo should embody, and they more or less follow cebs good advice too:

hey guys my friend ended up copying the E90 one...I didnt get proper approval from acurazine so I will be taking it off but what do you guys think...He made it already before I told him I needed approval first...what do you guys think hey Killer does are some great design...

p.s. it had a .com but it wouldn't fit right so I took it off...Again moderators I will be taking the decal off just wanted to see how it looked

Looks good. And come on.. You dont have to lie. Your not taking it off lol. and you dont have to. Its your car, you do what you want with it. Acurazine.com can only approve an authorized decal to publish/make/sell but you can do whatever you want to your car.


With that said, you cant sell these on here without prior authorization from Acurazine.


I think its getting to the season already and we need to make a decision as to what decal we'd want to use.

Get me the top 5 decals so i can bring them up to Astro and approve them for use first then we'll take a vote to finally have 1 set TRISTATE ACURAZINE decal..

umm...the plane is a little too much...the towers are like a memorial the plane just adds horrible flash backs...minus the plane n i think the city in the background should just be a white/silver or similar color outline not a shaded back...
