Care to name a shop better than cambertoe? I looking for shop to adjust my coilovers and figure out why my alignment is so out of whack, steering feels so loosey goosy.
150 for a freaking alignment??!?! thats crazy!! i feel like i got robbed smh.
it was actually 240 for the front camber kit installation and alignment i just hope i didnt get charged for asking them to make my coilovers a little harder(pause) in the front.

I'm actually heading over there tomorrow to get my fenders rolled... Heard they do good work with lowered cars/alignments/suspensions... Also considering just letting them install and adjust my coilovers and camber kit... Dunno if I'm gonna have the time to do it myself..
Anyone can lower a car.. nothing special about lowering a car. You can't get it aligned till you let it roll for about 100 miles anyways. I gotta ask a few people where to get a good alignment. I mean I just look for places that have the HUNTER LASER ALIGNMENT machines and just get it done there.. and have them give me before and after print outs.

they also will do custom alignments to your specs (caster, camber, toe, etc.) had a sick s2000 on the machine when i was there getting dialed in for an upcoming road race.. all good guys who know there stuff also!!
^ whats up man!! Did you provide them with any camber kits? or did they do the work on stock hardware?
I need a damn good alignment/toe/camber... i have h&rs.. which should be able to get CLOSE to stock specs on stock hardware, but i want my car to be zeroed in to stock specs...

they only had time to do my fenders last time i was there.. i'll prolly be heading back this weekend or early next week for the suspension install (coilovers and rear camber) for now i'll be keeping stock hardware upfront
but im sure theyll have no problem answering your questions on the phone..or if you even swing by... they were all cool guys who knew their stuff and seem to do alot of suspension work on tracked cars/street cars alike... read up on them on e90post before i went, even better that theyre somewhat local and there rates for work were totally reasonable
sorry cant answer your question better as of now lol
Base on the recommendations here, I went to Cambertoe today for an alignment. (Bear in mine that I am more used to the bigger operations of Sears, Goodyear, etc). But I am surprise to see that the operation is just a small one Hunter machine alignment shop with three lifts. There was no place to park except on the street. The guys were friendly enough but I'm not impressed with their operations. Perhaps I am somewhat soured by the fact that they couldn't align one wheel due to a rusted cam bolts. They have also stripped the bolt in the process of trying to remove it (now it really needs to be cut out). But I was surprise to know that they don't have any guarantee (like the big boys) to the alignment process. Most will at least allow you to "recheck" the alignment after a certain period of time. Essentially getting a double check for the price of one alignment. They wanted to stop the alignment process and charge me the price of putting the car on the lift ($40). Or they gave me the option of continuing with the alignment process knowing that one wheel will not be aligned for the entire amount ($85). Then when the control arm is fixed, take the car up again and charge me the same amount of $85 for a realignment. I think for a small "mom and pop" operation, like this one, they should at least charge once and verify it a second time or give a discount to the second alignment. But to pay for two alignments is really unfair.
Needless to say, I'm not happy and will not be going back. I should have listened to my instincts when I saw the place...

Sorry to hear u had a bad experience!! See the problem with using a big chain place is 95% won't go near or touch a lowered car.. Even back before I was slammed on coils i only had proline springs and I had big chains (sears/Firestone/etc) refusing to do an alignment on my car.. When they did my setup over the summer (install adjust coils, install adjust rear camber kit/ throw on my wheels, adjust it all & align it) they did a great job and Price was damn good...
Dropping my car back off on Monday to throw my winter rims on, raise height/adjust camber and an alignment so i'll let ya know how it goes.. Sucks u had all those issues though, they've done a good job on my car and a few of my buddies!
Nope, bone stock. Actually when the car was on the lift, I was surprise to see almost no rust on the bottom of the car. With 60k miles and built 2005, all the control arms look pretty new. One can never see rust, I guess, esp when it comes to these control arm bushings and the bolts that hold them. It used to be my wife's DD until we got the BMW 550. Now it just sits at home. I don't know if 0.32 degrees of toe out in one wheel in the rear is going to make much difference but the range is from -0.16 to +0.16 so I'm hoping that when the weather is warmer in a few months, I'll spring for a toe kit and make it easier for the next person to adjust it.
BTW, I'm the original owner and no accidents either.
