Rami Transmission aka ebay seller Rami5566.718

If your looking for a transmission and have run across this company.........

Do not do it! I cannot express my feelings enough! Just do not allow Rami Transmissions, e-bay seller Rami5566.718, aka YS&D Engine to supply you with a remanufactured (suposedly) transmission. If you live within walking distance of the shop them perhaps you have a chance in hell of receiving satisfaction. Unfortunately If you are using them via the internet to provide you with a replacement transmission then prepare to be ripped off!

The deceit and dishonesty runs throughout this FAMILY operation. Do some research and you will find that there are a number of unsatisfied customers. The 5 star reviews are from the family members themselves! I only wish that I had done a bit more due dilegence when researching this sham of an operation. Look at Kudzu.com 5 star review from ykadoch ! this is the e-mail address for the company! HAHA Check out showmelocal all bad reviews. I just wish I had done more homework before purchasing from them 3000 miles away.

All family members are obviously trained in the ways that they operate. I have not found one honest person on the other end of the phone yet. Rami, Amir, the wife, etc. All well versed in the art of telling you exactly what you want to hear with out ever delivering.

They knew all the right things to say on the phone, and seemed very knowledgable on the transmission issues. Remanufactured transmission with 2 year warranty (HAHAHA) with free torque converter and in line filter available for reasonable price! I took the hook! Initial purchase and shipping happened very quickly, But the transmission they supplied had issues from the start! Troubleshooted the problems directly with Rami! Thought it may have been a selenoid or something on my end. Replaced selenoids. This was never the problem. Rami finally says..............I will send you a replacement! Dont believe him!

At this point I am thinking its just my luck, but I do not want to belive I am being scammed. 2 months later............... excuse after excuse, need to wait for a core to rebuild one (what about my core that I returned that you never credited my account the $450.00 for the core refund?) Oh we just rebuilt three, waiting for the dyno to check. OK all 3 are good sending today. Wait wait , call for tracking number. Given bogus number. Call shipping company..........NO we never had a pick up for you!. Oh now Dyno is broken waiting for Dyno repair to test. OK, wait wait wait. OK here is pick up number xxx using new shipper. I call shipper! Oh yeah we have pick up scheduled, But we do not even deliver to California! WTF! This is over a period of several weeks where they dodge your phone number. I am now only getting thru by using friends cell phones from out of state numbers!! OMG then the numerous hang ups on me and the promisses to call back. And all of this is using “God willing” and other just rediculous comments that try to allude to the fact that they are somehow honest! HAHAHA

So in short! Do some more research! These people are scam artists. Luckily my Credit Card company agrees and I did not wait to long to start the restitution process, but these people are crooks and should not be allowed to prey on people on the internet. I am actually happy at the outcome now, because even if they had come thru somehow in the end I would not ever trust the transmission that they would have shipped to me so good riddance RAMI TRANSMISSIONS!

PS Rami transmissions..............its been over a week and I havent received the return phone call you promised “on your word” to return that day!

im glad you took to the internet with this, and im sure most others would fear a reprisal but weve been in business for over 50 years. you dont last that long as a "theif" as you so claim. as opposed to resorting to a long winded response ill simply ask that people take a look at our feedbacks. were a top rated seller, and a trusted power seller. i have no need to "rob" you, or anyone of anything. we make, thank g-d, more than enough money to ensure that your 1150 while i do understand it is a large sum, earned through hard work, is not a sufficient amount for us to ruin our name over. ill let my sales record speak for itself and will offer anyone at any time on this forum or other to call us and question our methods. here is the number 718-856-5566.

Rami have you sent out a replacement transmission to him ? Instead of trying to defend your company and putting the customer down why not resolve the issue and have the customer change his review ?

Ramitransmission, you've replied with exactly the same response on all of this reposts. But nowhere do I see a specific answer to why the OP is left hanging with all kinds of money on the line?

I did a quick search and he doesn't seem to be the only unhappy camper. I don't blame him for the tirade. If I had that much money hanging with no legit updates, I would be pissed.

Goodluck selling's those messed up Hondas

sooo Looks like someone company reputation is going to get worst since they can't answer a few simple questions.

I don't know if you guys remember this thread with the GTR. That honda feedback and reputation tanked for a few days. Until they were like F it here the GTR. yeah that was one of our guys. So don't underestimate the power of the interweb.

Rami! I have been awaiting your phone call. but nothing to date. honestly I would not trust anything that you send me. My credit card company will be resolving this. Good luck restoring your credibility. As others have so deftly noticed you have not proposed a solution or even contacted me. If you would have taken care of business it would not have come to this.

Explain even this one issue. why have you not to date credited my card the core fee for the transmission that was returned to you thru Estes Express that I have the the supporting documentation from the shipper?

I am not sure why I would be concerned about how many hondas you have sold. My only concern is getting a functioning transmission in my vehicle!!!!!

Let me know where you have posted because I would love to follow up there as well. And believe me there are alot!

I do not know why you would say............"I hope you see this"? If you would like to communicate with me call me you have my number! Or perhaps when you see my number come up on your phone try answering. Its not very difficult.

I look forward to your response.

At 9:23 in the NY/NJ regions thread he calls me out as a clown and tells me to shove it.........while trolling for business........

Whats it gonna be?

And regarding the thief comment I made.........prove me wrong!

Everyone here can log onto Estes Express shipping website and enter the PRO # 292-0296139
That will show them my transmission was returned to you on 1/23/2012 at 11:05 am and received at your shop by Adlin.

Where is my $450.00 core refund? The internet is a beautiful thing!

Update! Absolutely nothing! No call from Rami Transmission! No messages from Rami! No additional posts from Rami! No proposed solutions..............no refund for the $450.00 core charge to my credit card. And to think they somehow believe that they are not crooks and provide "customer service"

Rami? I am still waiting for some sort of communication.

i think it's over. He pretty much just made an account to post a response once and that's it.

and i like how he gave his # out so we could call him...why the hell would we call him? we're not his customers, and will probably never be.

Are you in a position to just let your credit card company handle it or are you minus a transmission because you sent yours back already?

I will let the credit card company handle it. I had to have the crap one that Rami sent me rebuilt. Should be back on the road this week.

But they have also stiffed me on the core charge for my original one I that I sent back to Rami

Fuck thieves!

OP, file a complaint with your CC company and get the money refunded to your account. These companies offer buyer's protection. I know from a very similar experience. Good luck and sorry to hear about your fiasco with those jerks.

Thanks for the links! I have gone to most of the main ones in which they tend to target their transmissions and posted as well as every review site I could find.

Yeah! It does not surprise me that Rami has not responded, He has no intent of providing any kind of solution.

I sincerely doubt Howard will take on something from CA. The LA equivalent sister station KPIX must have someone like him who does the same thing.

Someone should call and act like there buying a transmission and than let them know how you researched them and a shit load of negative comments and feed back came back. I hate scums like that! Taking people's hard earned money. I'll help you spread the word about this place how horrible it is and run them out of buisness.
