I've been wondering, are stock tl's frowned upon during meets/shoots?
I could never bring myself to go to one before because I didn't want to have Vanilla tl while everyone else was rocking their caramel covered chocolate and strawberry swirl.

We need someone to rally the troops then.

 

i agree dommafia. and.. i dont think you should worry about that because i felt the same way with mine and people seem to welcome you anyways. i still haven't gone to a meet though ...mostly cause menlo is a hike.

menlo is about 30-40 min for me, i try to make it atleast once every 3-4 weeks

 

idk if there is a place in paramus per se but im sure there are places around bergen county for sure. (GSP is not a good place, although i do see people on the rooftop when im leaving...i wouldnt go near those toolbags if you paid me.) i see cars gather on 17N by the mini strip with 5guys, starbucks, chiles etc. I never see cops giving a hard time either.

 

Yeah ive seen them up there too, by East Rutherford right? Im sure we could find a place around here to do a meet

There's also a lot on Route 17 South behind Houlihans and White Castle in Hasbrouck Heights. It's right to the left of Meadowlands Nissan. Just another place I thought of. I know there's usually (or was usually, not sure if they still have it) a huge meet in Lyndhurst/Secaucus at some cafe, but it was usually classic/muscle cars that showed up there.

Just wanna chuck my two cents in here because if there is a Bergen County Meet It would be pretty cool - since Menlo is a drive for me too been there once and with after office hours traffic it's a hike.

Van Saun Park Saturday/Sunday Afternoons around 5ish theres a parking lot that is usually 3/4 empty -- I know because I take pics of my car there

Pretty sure there is a security truck that goes through the grounds and I'm not sure if he/they would give a bunch of cars crap for being in there. Especially on weekends in the summer when it's supposed to be a family place

 

maxmike you're talking about whiskey cafe on tuesday nights... thats down the street from my complex. ... although you give me an idea now.. theres an empty parking lot across the street from whiskey that people just park in and walk over if they're just there for the show.... maybe there?!? i mean... the cops wouldnt bother you for sure since theres a car show across the street... lol idk guys! gimme your opinions but lets do this.

 

I'm down for any anywhere as long as we don't go more south past newark
and just to save some time, for those who live around the southern bergen county area should come up with alternative places/list to regroup IF we do get booted from somewhere else. I want this to happen, there are not many acuras in my area...

actually i may be wrong about the date sotiris... but they had one yesterday. i passed by around 7:30 and it was going on. It's every saturday 4 - 10.

Dont think of it being stock just think of it as a work in progress mine is stock somewhat and I go to Menlo when I can so dont let that discourage you from being and Acura enthusiast ,,,,,,,, hey why not in the toy r' us parking lot that shares the same one as ikea in Elizabeth exit 13a from the turnpike or some type of 24h Dunkin Donuts

 

why dont we meet at garden state plaza theres one lot thats always empty and no one ever parks in, I mean its worth a try

sorry to bring this thread back to life lol, but are there any thoughts of actually doing this? im not far from here and the parking lot at ikea is always subies and evo's. the lot over by the lord and taylor is never packed. so im down if anyone elso is. saturdays at 9ish is okay too i work late saturdays and can be there at 930pm.
