Hi all...i am new to the form, so forgive me if i am posting in the wrong section.

I am interested in purchasing and 08 Acura TL and have one in mind. I am looking for a mechanic, who can look over the car for me (on a lift of course) to see if everything is in order and if there has been any damage to it (I ran the carfax and everything came back clean, but not everyone reports accidents unfortunately.) The car is located in Queens,NY so someone from around that area would be great.

Also, after purchasing the vehicle, I would like to be able to look to this mechanic for up keep and any other problems that may arise.

Fellow members, do you have any reccomendations? Is their anyone on this fourm who is a mechanic that anyone reccomends?

I worked with this car long enough to know everything about it. I have pointed something out to almost everyone that they didn't know about their car. Ill know if the bumpers aren't OEM, if they have been painted over, if fenders don't line up correctly and basically anything to see if its in an accident.

 

Sounds good. I see you live in NJ. Approximently how far away from Queens are you?

 

where in queens you live? i live in fresh meadows and it takes me about hr 10 min or so with no traffic doing about 85/90 on the garden state parkway ack is mad legit planning to go to him again in mid may for more mods

 

Nice...I live in fresh meadows as well, right off the LIE. I just need someone to look at a prospective TL to see if there were any damages to it and if everything is in order.
