Is Hoboken, NJ Acura TL Central?

Hey Gang,

Yesterday I had occasion to drive the length of Washington Street in Hoboken, yikes, one pass down the street and I swear I saw at least two dozen TLs ranging from Gen 2s through Gen 4s. My car felt like it was right at home. :)

Side note, what the heck is up with the pavement on Washington? Looks like 100 years of asphalt patches without a single full repaving job; I swear I loosened a few fillings in my teeth.

Back in New Hamster now and loving the (relatively) smooth roads.

Regards

Hmmm, we lived in Hudson and Bergen Counties for the better part of ten years; half in the Jersey City/Bayonne area and half up in Woodcliff Lake; I don't remember any roads being anywhere near as bad as Washington Street. Maybe I'm just having a "Senior Moment". :)

Washington Street in Hoboken has always been like that. They purposely leave it in that condition so the vehicles can't go higher than 15-20 mph. Hoboken has always been the place to party for those that don't want to go into NYC. As of lately, Edgewater, Fort Lee and Hoboken have become the best spots for night life. A lot of people from NYC are coming into this side of the Hudson. BTW, I live 10 mins away from Hoboken, Cliffside Park area.

That's why I avoid Washington Street in Hoboken like the plague and use one of the side streets instead.

On my way back out of town I went up Bloomfield St, much-much better. :)

TL's are very ginny, bro-ish cars (myself included)
Hoboken is also very bro-ish, so you put the 2 of them together....
