I have been in search of the perfect 6mt TL-S and didnt realize how hard it is to find one. Anyway, I came across a black on black 08 at Atlantic Toyota in Amityville on Long Island NY and am getting so sick of dealing with dealers that cant answer the questions I have about the car since I cant just drive over there and look at it.
So im wondering if there is anyone that lives near this dealership that can check it out and maybe take some high quality pictures for me and look it over for me so I know if I should fly out and drive it home.

No as of right now I changed my mind. The guy was giving me a hard time about how to pay for it. Basically he wanted the full amount in his account and cleared before I leave with the car. Would have been fine had I been paying cash but my bank wrote a check to him thats as good as cash but would take a few days for his bank to clear the full amount. So basically he wanted me to give him full amount before I ever even see the car. He has all my money, the car, the title everything. Funny thing is he said he wanted the transaction to be fair for both parties. I told him forget it I will give my money to someone else who is more willing to take it. In the end im happy I did this because it had the taupe interior which I did not want. Not that it looks bad but because my previous TL had taupe/black interior and I wanted something a little different.

I would stay away from Atlantic auto group. Very pushy bunch of jackasses that charge all kinds of ridiculous dealer fees. They act like the customer is a total idiot and they know everything about everything. It is probably because they are extremely high volume sellers. Atlantic auto group is HUGE.

source: I have been to Atlantic Toyota, Nissan, Honda, and Audi. All with similar miserable results.

i use to live 5 mins away from there

i might be able to get down there friday, its snowing now and will be snowing tomorrow so thats a no go

i actually called about that car and thought of trading my 07 tl for it...kinda changed my mind now
