Any lake oh river in NY ;NJ:PA oh CT
guys please any body a good place where i can take to the family this summer where we can swim and make a bbq and maybe stay for a weekend but we dont really like the saltwater ; please any suggestions will be grateful thanks

How far are you willing to travel, I remember a great spot about an hour away from Rockland county my family use to do just that + jet ski at.

Dad doesn't remember but I think it's "7 lakes" NY in Rockland.

yeah 7 lakes is cool...if you want to travel a bit further go to bear mountain...nice drive and nice family chill spot... also, i think gtr's and beamers do runs there...just a fun fact

they got cabins over at the 7 lakes?? i always went with my family every summer and never noticed, beats going to orchard beach for sure lol

Try lake taghkanic in connecticut, was there on monday and was really nice.there are places you can rent there and the drive up the Taconic is sweet.

Don't remember, last time I went was nearly 9-10yrs ago and we only took day trips there.
