Good to hear it, last year's meet was great. Really sunny day (a bit hot but it's August, what do you want?) and the catering was a classy touch by Ron. I'm looking forward to it.

 

Yea i would love to go check it out maybe pick up a set of side skirts. Take my STOCK TL.

I'm really looking forward to this. I didn't own my TL yet last year at that time, and I'm finally getting to the point where I feel like my TL is worthy to be in the presence of some of the greats! LOL

Yeah, it's the meet of the year. Big turnout and strictly Acura. Gets people all over the country envious if they are too far to make it. Thank God RJ is local. Typically you can expect to hear about it by mid July.

 

Ronjon meet??? I some what doubt it, its about the end of July and no word yet. So i doubt it. Anybody else hear if their is going to be a meet?

Yea, ive been wondering too.. Usually he talks about it in June/July - Planned for Mid-Late August... Last years, was like the 2nd to last day in august, i remember, because it was the last day I had my Lexions

Sorry guys, this year we're gonna take a break form the RJ meet. We will surely have it next year tho. With basically 3 of the same meets in a row, I wanted to do something different for the next meet, and with all the new products that came out (8g accord coupe kit, new DT3forged wheel) and are coming out in 09 (4g TL grille, Sentinel Wheel, new Legend and Legend Type II finishes), it's kinda hard to set aside the funds for this one. I also have some personal events in August that will tie up the month.

Sorry guys, it's less of the funds and more of the planning, scheduling thing, not to get personal, but wife just had a baby, I got some boxing tournaments coming up in August (LOTS of training), business is keeping me occupied, etc. If we can do a regular meet, I wouldn't mind paying for the BBQ food and stuff, but where could we do it? That was always the hardest part, finding a legit place to hold it that could fit all the cars and offer a place to eat.

 

FDR State Park? I didn't go to the last meet held there, but it's a possibility.

lol, maybe we could fit about 30 cars in the parking lot. Besides, they are doing a shitload of watermain construction, the streets are filled with equipment and cones.

 

There is always Hecksher state park out here... BBQ and everything, always a GREAT turn out.. but this time, maybe we keep it strictly acura/honda based and close friends... no public posting the thread all over the world
