Good Morning Everyone,
I'm new to this site and slowly trying to earn my position in the Acura family. I currently own a 2008 Acura TL and its currently being customized ( Exterior Only So Far, Trying To Make My Car Look Like The Attached Photos In This Thread ). But I was thinking once my car is done I can set up a Acura TL gathering . New people can meet and network and I can also receive amazing suggestions and feedback from other Car Gurus and Acura owners. If anyone thinks this is a good idea please let me know. If anyone can think of good places to have Acura meets this summer in the NYC area please let me know . Hope everyone has a great day .

Welcome Trev, we used to do a lot of meets back in the day. 100+ cars, no joke. Would be great to get people together again but that right there is the problem. I'm down, how to get everyone together?

Thanks for the reply . I'm dying to attend a meet . I've never attended a meet before but always wanted to . I'm down for even a few cars to meet . Maybe 10-20. Doesn't have to be much just enough to catch a few pictures and videos . I was thinking Roosevelt Island but if u can think of other places please let me know when and where and I'll be there

You know what the real problem is? This subforum is in an obscure place and hardly anyone comes down through here. (Including me, lol) And of course we are not allowed to start meet threads on the main 3GTL forum.

I'm sure you could get plenty of people to come if they knew about it. But how to get the word out is the issue.

hey im fairly new as well, but having a meet would be a awsome thing. if i may suggest tho if your having trouble getting poeple ot sign on to it try not to limit the meet to just 3gs maybe let 4gs attend. i have a 4g which i purchased a months ago.


Also if u really want to get a meet started, someone has to lead. from my real world experiance with these things, typically somone or very small group (2-3) picks a place and time and location. and regardly meets to share ideas, and just chill. then while on forums advertise such meets by posting and showing off possible pictures, and spreading there Siggys around (not sure if this site allows Signitures of that guys). we might not be able to start a Thread but i believe nothign stops us from spreading the word via replies (not spamming of course) where appropriate.

case in point somone as to take the lead or else it will not happen.
