Me and a freind decided to go to Sagelands vineyard but thier tasting room was closed so I stumbled upon Chateau ste michells site and figured since we both like their Risling (not as much as sagelands) we would check them out. The place itself is beutiful. If i took a pic of the main gain it would have looked ecactly as the website. once they found out we were military we got our tasting free(they have various ones including a free one but we got the 10 one free) and OMG they have some really good stuff quite a few of the items arnt sold in stores. Everyone there was nice and really knew their stuff. No one tried to push the expesive shit like a lot of places but was more focused on getting you what you liked. Prices ranged from 9-70 (for the wines that i looked at) i am thinking about joining thier club to get discounts free shit accsess to new shit before its on sale ect but the

When I was drinking heavily I downed a few bottles of thier wine, mostly because it was less than $10 a bottle.

haha isnt the redhook brewery right next door too? i just started getting into wines. i lean more towards the white wines though. I actually just tried a spanish wine that had somewhat of a spicy taste to it. definitely interesting

haha i dont drink wine too often d. only once in a while. im still a rum man haha. i tried the spanish wine at black bottle in belltown. i kinda like that place
