Seattle area tint shops?
I'm thinking of getting my 4G TL tinted. Any place you guys/gals can recommend?
I was thinking of using Accutint; they have 3 stores in the Seattle area and use 3M Formula one. Any experiences (good/bad) with them? I stopped by their booth at the recent Seattle auto show.
What prices have you paid for your tints? Thanks!

Where you are located? N Seattle or S Seattle? Down in Auburn, there is a place that does excellent work. Personal friend of mine who's done 3cars, nothing but quality work. Should run you around $140.

Frankie's Window Tinting in Lynnwood does a really good job. Albeit, the guy does look more like a "thug" at first - but he's kewl. Recommend his work, but the dude owns a small shop and charges almost $300. Prestige's pretty good too - so I've heard.
Docboy, I had no idea you were in Washington. Where at? How's the 6MT 4G treating ya?

I guy from Accutint applied at my shop a few years back. His tints were dirty as sin. but i've heard a few good things from them.
I worked with the guys from midnightwindowtinting on aurora ave for a few days, they seemed to do an ok job, but I never saw whatthe tint looked like a few months later. Tinting is hit or miss. If you pay $140, you better expect to get what you paid for. My TLs started at $220 and went up from there. Good luck and post pics.

I'm still asking around about local tint shops. Seems like most places want around $300 or so.

I know this is a bit late, but Accutint is one of the best shops in the Seattle area. Now with that said, you have to go to the Bellevue shop, the Seattle shop has a lot of air dust issues, which causes a problem when tinting.

Not to spike up a few month old thread but I am a professional certified window tinter through Llumar which is number 1 in my books for film, always stand behind their warranties (if there ever are any) and its a great looking film.
I will let you guys know, (if you dont already) some model Acura TL, as well as mustangs and mercedes and some others, need felt on the inside window gasket where the film slides up and down against. They come stock with just a rubber gasket and if you dont felt this, the window film will get all scratched up within a few weeks of rolling up and down. No matter WHAT brand of film you choose, IT WILL SCRATCH. And dont let anyone tell you different or you will be paying for your windows to get redone down the road.
Im located in Federal Way and if anyone needs work done (windows, taillights, headlights, vinyl, roof wrapping, clear mask paint protection) let me know. I just moved up here from Vancouver WA, and will be opening a shop come spring time. But for now I do work out of my garage at my place.
Honk if see a camo wrapped Hummer rolling around the area with my number and Imperial Window Tinting on the windows, or a 06 White Acura TL A-Spec with tinted tails and windows, ill be sure to give a friendly wave!
Thanks,
Jeff (Imperial Window Tinting)

Jay's Tint Shop in Kirkland next to Infiniti dealer. not the cheapest but they do excellent work. I've had a couple cars tinted there. you can read their reviews on yelp.
