Driving up from San Francisco to Portland, Oregon
I am driving up in 2 weeks. Weather seems like it will be rain and showers. Are there anything I should watch out for over there? How are the road conditions in Oregon?
Aside from the fact that I cannot bring my umbrella and that my exhaust would kill many trees... what else should I worry about in your nice town?

If you've never driven on I-5 north out of San Francisco before, it's mostly a smooth road. There may be some slow areas near southern Oregon. Watch your speed when the posted speed drops to 50 MPH, there are some tighter turns just north out of Ashland.
Enjoy the drive through the northern CA mountians and southern Oregon mountains until you get to Eugene. Then it's a nearly straight shot to Portland.
