who is running the EBC red stuff?? I am curious to know since its been raining lately how is the pads holding up? I know my green stuff it takes alittle pressure to slow down and i feel they are alittle short of stock feel might have to upgrade the fronts..

I'm running EBC redstuff pads with EBC dimpled/slotted rotors. I've driven only a little the past few days though (to and from work, some nearby shopping), and didn't get caught in any heavy rain to tell you how they fare in the really wet stuff. So far, in light rain, they've been great.
Maybe later this week there'll be some heavy rain I'll get caught in to give you some feedback.

^^ that would be awesome.. i just re-bled the brakes and that seemed to help alot.. but no rain today to see if its a true difference i also went from a dot4 back to a dot 3 so maybe the heat friction was part of the issue.. i have slotted and drilled so i am sure they were staying decently colder then normal.. also when i first put them on my bro and i bled from the back to the front and in the chiltons it says to go from the front to the back so i did that this time.. lots of factors going into this i guess haha..
anywho let me know what you think once you are able to drive into some good rain

the new LGs look nice.. or the samsung LED tv.. alot of the plazmas and lcds are cheaper then what they once were 2 years ago.. the 46 inch we had was the Sony.. it might of been a fluke we had.. but i dont think we will get that brand again..
#1488
foh shizzle.. that is a tight tv.. i like it for the fact its not a heat conductor like my plazmas.. the pioneer isnt too bad but our insignia in our bedroom is a heater..

yea my gf's parents just bought a samsung LED, amazing set. Pioneer elite ones are money but way way too expensive, if you are baller then maybe. Insignia's arent too bad for the money, but from what my buddy at best buy told me, their board dies pretty often. They get a lot of return on warranties with those. But if you have a good one then you are golden. Its a set for my gf and she doesnt need any top of the line thing, I just want to get a decent set so when I bring my ps3 over.

no they actually got a pretty good deal. I was surprised, my sister hates that place. She went a few years ago and bought a new set from them, they delivered a used set. After haggling for a while, they took the set back and told her to never come back, obviously she wouldnt anyways. So when my gf's parents got theirs, I made sure it was a new set. But they worked out a deal with them and got a stand as well for 2600 or something. It was a pretty good deal, zero interest for a year.

no, I dont have a garage anymore. My sister and her family sold her home and are currently using the garage till they find a new house. Working on a short sale and those can take a long time so until then, I have no garage. After going to the meet, my car is so blah now. I dont really care too much about it, my axle is going bad now so I need to change that asap.

go to harborfreight.. you can get a dremmel tool cheap..

so as I stated before, my tools and whatever are buried under my sister's 3 bedroom stuff in my garage. So I called around to find out if I can get a quote on installing the axle, everybody wanted about 1.5 hr charge for work and about 80-100 per hour. Man, I'm just going to do it myself. On a lift, that should not take longer then an hour, i say 30 mins with a lift and tools.

umm yours and auto or manual?? i didnt see.. on the civic my first time it took me 2 hours.. thats me with a floor jack and tools.. haha.. i had it down to 45 minutes err close to the last time i did it.. you have to pretty much take apart your shock assembly to get out the axle.. not for sure on our cars or yours but i would think it would be close to the same.. also you need a big effin socket to take the axle nut off.. the civic is a 32mm not sure what it is for yours.. youll need to drain your tranny fluid too otherwise that can be another heap of issue.. and i know for the manuals you have to put the car in nuetral to pop the axle out.. not sure for the autos if its the same but i would assume so.. almost forgot you gotta be carefull putting in the new one you dont want the CV part to come undone..

well you might not need to.. i know with the transfer case on the civic it was connected to the tranny and it says to drain it otherwise the fluid will come out.. which it did.. if you can get yourself a chilton for the car that would tell you for sure if you need to.. its well worth the money.. if you want to save yourself the hassle and just do it think of it as changing your tranny fluid =)

It began today....12 hours later ive got 4 green tubes with springs on them laying on the garage floor, a box full of big blue brakes, and a box with a speaker in it tucked into the corner.
Productive, yet sad day.
