105k service for 2007 TL Type-S in Portland area

Did a few searches and nothing comes up more recent than 2008.

I have been getting my services done at Ron Tonkin in Beaverton and I'm considering a Honda dealership or an Indy for this higher priced service.

Any recommendations?

I've read I should expect anywhere from $850 to $1,200 on the east coast.

I'm 5k away yet, but if a parts discount or special of some kind comes up in the next 3 months I want to be prepared.

Thanks!

If you want to spend a little less than dealer, I used to take my Accord to these guys:

Import Auto Repair
11593 SW Canyon Road
Beaverton, OR 97005

Telephone: 503-526-9619

They are quick and cheap.

lol! Paul Frys

He's actually a friend. I've had him working on my BMW 528i, Toyota Pickup, Ford Explorer. Even my parents have had him working on their cars (BMW's) over the years. I used to teach his son's how to skate and play hockey.

I'll take my car to him for the 105k service when it's time.

Right now I'm scheduled for a B1 service with Ron Tonkin Acura of Beaverton. I need to log a repair attempt on the front brake calipers/VSA system. I think the VSA is malfunctioning, or the left front caliper is sticking/open. I replaced the front brake pads last winter and the left front pads were not worn. The right front was down to 2mm. Either the previous owner replaced just the left front pads before I bought the car or something is wrong.

I have an extended warranty that should cover it. I asked them about it last year and they said the system was working fine. I'll give them one more try.

Thanks for the reminder!

I finally contacted Paul at Import Auto and he stated it would be close to $900.00 all in. I was hoping for a little less

Import Automotive did the 105k service as well as transmission fluid change and plugs for just under $1,000.

Last Friday I also put on some fresh rubber. I was on the Goodyear Eagle GT's. They followed the ruts in the road and were very unnerving when accelerating hard while changing lanes. I bought a set of Pirelli PZero Nero A/S and I can tell you they are very soft feeling. They track straight even when in ruts or changing lanes. They don't turn in as quickly, but that's not a fault. So far, I'm very happy with them.
